First goes with the flow of MASS MAHARAJ RAVITEJA.. When we look at the second half it's like freaking out ride... Narration is too fast to cover the entire story in second half...

An unexpected kind of movie from an unexpected actor with an unexpected twist.
This movie can't be categorized to one particular kind of genre. It's a mix of Sci-fi, action, Crime, Thriller and Comedy entertainer.
Movie begins on an interesting not but goes routine in sometime and becomes a regular pattern, but the kind of presentation is what holds the audience interest if something interesting gonna happen which never happens.
Mass MahaRaj as Disco Raja was good. As usual joshful and energetic action with no overacting.
Songs are good and goes in the flow of story, so don't feel like watching songs.
All heroines have limited screen presence but were good in their roles.. Payal got good role.
Comedy is fine.. (Vennala Kishore)
Bobby Simha as Usual at his best but his characterization is poorly designed. Looks powerful but no much impact.
Sunil was impressive.
Definitely this kind of movies are not going to be money spinners at box office irrespective of the talk.
There is nothing much to say on highlights nor negatives very specifically.

This movie was good but the direction was bad, Editing of movie was too bad that you can't involve into story. Lazy screenplay makes it hard to watch. Second half of this movie was good but first half was worst.
Visually it was stunning but with lackluster screenplay and characters you can't feel the story. Comedy doesn't work and except main lead every other character was lacks proper treatment and background score not upto the mark .
When you make a science fiction movie you need a slow screenplay and sharp editing.this movie lacks both. Movie starts with good tone and but the laboratory scenes were feels like watching a unwanted documentary and the son story was not engaging.

Thaman's retro music is a big pro for this film, BGM was a big booster for the overall film, though it was repetitive, it still wasn't boring. Without music & bgm, this film is nothing more than the usual telugu cinema crap.
Ravi teja's usual jovial performance does work out really well for the kinda characterisation of the protagonist.
The plot revolves around madras but very little Tamil reference was given with just a handful of roles throughout the film and that was a bummer the way Telugu over Tamil was being portrayed was thankfully broken in the climax twist and hence it becomes a likable film for audiences from both the regions/states.
The double action was required just for the twist, otherwise, the 2nd character didn't add any value or wasn't characterized well or wasn't used at all.
And as usual, the heroine's character was useless although the disabled heroine's character did add value to the film.
And Bobby Simha's character naming matching his classic role in the Tamil film Jigarthanda doesn't seem to be coincidental.
The story & screenplay was good enough with a decent mix of twists sprinkled but still, somehow it feels like the film is just like other Telugu films only and nothing much.
Overall, it is a one-time watchable one for commercial/masala film viewers.

Just worst movie of this director... very bad story.. screenplay was good... no grip in the story no emotions no feeling... i didnt expect such a movie from ravi theja... even we cant blame him bcoz most of the things done by director... just waste of money no entertainment.. it was very boring throughout the movie... just dont make movies without good script and good story....

The film is engaging and some audience may get bored at some scenes.. but movie entertains you in a new manner..

Although the teaser and trailer were promising, the movie failed to make its mark for entry on science fiction in telugu film industry. The director didn't use the cast properly and also the background score was more worse. Same BGM was used throughout entire second half and there no josh in the second half as well. There was a tad bit comedy in the first half but the second half was of lame jokes and slow execution, there may be a plot changing turn in the end but due to lack of josh and movement the turn didn't yield any enjoyment. All around it's just movie without the content it promised
Well made sci-fi action entertainer with Ravi Teja at his finest.

Just watched it on the big screen with subtitles and I totally enjoyed it! Disco Raja is a finely made sci-fi action entertainer that possibly showcases Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja at his best. Great action, intriguing science concept, catchy music, unexpected twists and a solid execution are what make Disco Raja impressive. The director presents us with intriguing concepts and remembers to use them at the right moment. This could possibly be the finest film of Ravi Teja, who entirely steals the show.
Disco Raja also features a memorable background score, and I'm glad one more thing: there's no forced comedy or romance in the film. The film is perfectly balanced from the beginning to the end. And wait, what an ending!
The action sequences are outstanding! They give the feel of a Hollywood film at times, and that's something truly worth enjoying on the big screen. However, there's a lot of gore too, so keep this in mind that this is a very violent action film meant more for the mature viewers despite the U/A certification.

I don't know how people agree and make such horrible movies. No logic at all. People please don't go to hall and pay for this creep movies. We are living in the year 2020 not 1985 dude so that you can fool the people to this level. Anyone who is watching this review please understand its for your mental wellness I am writing this and this is the first time I am writing. People have some hopes atleast at Ravi Teja. Please man bounce back with good logical movies and entertain as you usually do.

The story is so bad that I fell asleep in the 1 hr of the movie. They have a very good cast but still none of them were able to give a good performance because of the narration. The VFX was only just and the way they connect the story dots is immature. All together its not what we expected that it will turn out to be. Apart from Ravi tejas acting nothing else was good.

No need to use any common sense or logic or brain while watching the movie. Movie made for fans of Raviteja. This is the best of Ravi Theja s movies I have ever watched. I used to hate his movies due to the same comedic impression he had in those movies. But has proved that those were only bad scripts and directions. Good movie and credit goes to the whole team.

Ravi tejas performance, style, attitude as a gangster, hindi dialogues, serious expressions, dance steps, outlook can be put together as magnanimous.
Loved the cinematography, style and richness of the film, glamorous element, perfect cast including the villain role and few others.
Music is one more highlight of the film, that gets you into the gangster mode.
Ravi tejas confidence in dealing with gangster is simply superb.
The 1980s set is also rich and soothing to watch.
Frankly speaking, after going through the ratings and review of the film, I thought not to watch the film. But i felt Ravi teja usually has some unknown element of surprise with his timing, so I just did, and to surprise why the heck could it actually be under rated.
Ravi teja is a versatile actor as he has mix of every bits and pieces of skills that can never bore you even the film is not good.

I'm a huge fan of Raviteja but still my review is genuine ..
1.First of all, this is not a routine story movie even though few people saying sci-fi coated old revenged story and it's not completely true if you really watch the movie you can see.
2. The story line is completely different and twists with story is too good to watch.
3. Like other routine stories, director can use heroine (love, Romance scenes), comedians for comedy and for story extensions but Editing was restricted towards main theme of story. (Many people disappointed with that but as genuine movie lover the Edit has sticked to main plot) ... All the characters are used upto their significance according to plot...
4. Raviteja energy levels are too good especially in Disco Raja Character.
5. There was bit lag with disco raja taking on sethu but director wants to ensure the equality powers between them or if it's routine story disco raja can kill sethu within that moment.. those who watched movie they can get to know... Few people saying this plot as a delay but actually director wants to make sure villain gets equal weightage...
6. Overall movie is good, you can enjoy new theme and twists especially... Few characters really nailed it....
I don't want to give any wrong impression for viewers but I feel IMDb gets some genuine responses.... Already few reviewers making false reviews but trust me those are not that much upto mark... It's damn sure one time watchable atleast...
