Best episode of season 2 so far!
lazorxx5 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I loved this episode, it had enough action as well as drama, also Deathstroke is one scary dude. The only negative about this episode is I feel the stuff with Rachel and Gar escalated too quick, it seemed rushed, but other than that, the episode was awesome.

Cliffhangers
acharrell5 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Cliffhangers are cheap and manipulative. Also annoying is how none of the adult heroes of this show ever learn anything. Jason is in this situation because dick and the others didn't trust him and don't share information with the young ones. They realize that, but then the very next thing they do is have a secret meeting and exclude them again! Ridiculous. Also Kori could've melted Deathstroke with her powers, but somehow he just gets thrown across a room. If you're going to give a character crazy powers and show us in a previous episode how she is able to go nuclear and incinerate people, you need to be consistent with that later on. Should've been game over for Deathstroke as soon as Kori walked in.

DEATHSTROKE
markq-756545 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This episode moves forward with the Jason being kidnapped. Gar tells the team about what happened with him and Jason. The old titans go to find him from dr light only to find out that Deathstroke has him. Slade then asks for a trade Jason for Rose. The titans contemplate it.

Gar gets angry and frustrated with everything with him feeling guilty for Jason's kidnapping. Rachel still caant control her powers and she's scared. Kory finally returns to help Rachel and the titans.

When them see Dick confront Slade, Dick offers himself up to save everyone else. But Slade has plans to kill Jason. Then Dick and Kory fight Slade, but Slade sets the bombs off and Jason faall's off the building.

This episode has great action, Deathstroke vs Dick and Kory was cool. The fighting and all the crazy weapons Deathstroke had was awesome.

We also see more character development for Rachel and Gar. Just an amazing episode, this shows just gets better and better.

Exciting as always.
deepakdst6 October 2019
Every episode ends at a very thrilled ending with strong clues what will come. I am sure that next episode will open with special powers of someone which will help saving Jason, that could be of Conner 😲 . So next episode will reveal who will fly. One thing that disturb me is Rachel's character. I mean see is powerful but always ask for someone instead of helping herself. And Kory and Rachel friendship is not so powerful, it would be nice to see Dick back to help Rachel because that Fatherly care of Dick for Rachel was the main highlight of the first season. So it will be good to see somewhat of that in this season also because this season has created a very large distance between them two. And Deathstroke and Dr. Light's chemistry was amazing to see with some good jokes, I enjoyed that. So let's see what Superboy will present for us in next episode.

Deathstroke's plan unfolds more clearly in this amazing episode with magnificent acting and character development
Holt3445 October 2019
The story and character development progress a lot in this episode as we get to see more of Deathstroke's plan play out. I've been very positive with the writing and overall dialogue of this season and this episode continues with only it getting better and better. It ultimately gave us a really great episode with strong writing and acting. The season have built up this villain, Slade since episode 2 and here we finally get to see him in action in one of the series best fight sequences that gave us variety and a good combination of our heroes powers and strengths. The visual effects, directing and choreography was some other things that were great. The episode left us on our seat and desperately waiting for the next episode, so far a really great season!

The best acting of the episode goes for the the actors that play Hank and Dawn. Strong performances from them and another one was Enai Morales as Slade Wilson, he truly captured the bad ass character we know well from the comics. One thing I want to point out is that Kory, a well known and well liked character from the animated series and comics are finally in my eyes almost there to be the character we know and love as it haven't really been a good adaption from her start in the first season but now I see the promise in what the writers are doing and I have come to like Anna Diop as Starfire.

One negative thing that I've to make a comment about is that the heroes really need to use their costumes. It doesn't really make much sense for it, Grayson I understand but the others not so much. We got an explanation why Gar never transformed though so I'm glad for that. I hope the Nightwing suit will be good, I got high hopes for that!

Titans Delivers!
viraaj-834423 November 2019
This show just blew my mind! I've always liked titans and DC, and the backlash against this show was disappointing for the reason of episodes like this. Deathstroke was great the action scene was amazing, and the ending left me on shock great episode by titans.

I want more from the titans...
naicuvictor18 January 2020
Great episode, but the show is called titans and have as main protagonists robin starfire beast boy and raven, i want to see more of them and less of hank and dawn or whatever, the writers have deviated a lot from the main storyline, i know because i have read comics and saw a lot of videos about the dc universe

Good episode, but...
pacgd5 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I like this show but have to agree to agree with the person who penned "Cliffhangers" here . I hope that show doesn't fall into the clffhanger/soap opera trap. I just gave a scathing review to a another shows season ending cheap asx cliffhanger bullshxt. Of couse that show was on a downhill slide anyway. If it takes a season to tell a good story one doesn't have to resort to clffhangers to grab people's attention!!l So, the more cliffhanger endings, the worst this show will get for me. Not a fan at all, of endings like this!!! Be it single episodes or the worst mistake of a season finale cliffhanger.

Also I wasn't a fan of how this season started!!! Thought it was lame, poor judgement call, thats what happens when people think too much. Season 2 episode 1 was supposed to be the season 1 finale, but then someone (thinking too much, or high on drugs) came up with their version of a bright idea. Yeah, that worked real well.

Back to ep 5, I don't think the smart mouthed kid's time is up yet.

Boring
rudicantfail3 December 2021
Ny goodness, how crap is this now? This programme just seems to determined to implode on it self. This really is totally boring, it has no direction, it has no storyline, it is just nonsense acting. Giving this a six is being very very generous, even now I wonder why I gave it such a score?

Too much talk, not enough action
peltz-chris25 November 2020
Really surprised by the high ratings on this one. The last 5-10 minutes were an 8.6, but the bulk of the episode dragged on with a lot of 1:1 conversations that felt too scripted and too "teen drama" at times. Love the whole show but this one was not one of their best.

So Starfire could have killed Deathstroke with just 1 flame, but she prefered to fight with her fists? and lose?
jere_zabala4 November 2019
UH? This had no sense, dumbest show I've ever seen, so starfire could have killed deathstroke so easily but she ocasionally decided to fight him instead turn him in fire, so she lost? I mean, WHY?? IT'S SENSELESS!!! WHO WROTE THIS SHOW?? I MEAN, COME ON!! SOME LOGIC MAN! deathstroke is extremely weak just against 1 titan only, why is he the villain against 8 titans??? if he can lose against starfire how can he win vs 8 titans at once?? the villain is extremely weak for this season, and the writers didn't do anything smart to make him a good villain, the story loses credibility, they really messed it up not showing titans powers in practically 2 seasons, and now this?? come on!! just ERASE THE 2 SEASONS, RE WRITE THE WHOLE SERIES AND COME BACK WITH A NEW TITANS SHOWS LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED! THIS IS A SCAM!

Season two keeps getting worse
born_naughty4 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
They keep adding new elements and characters instead of fleshing out what they already have. They also keep doing entire episodes of flashbacks, sometimes for characters that don't matter.

Now they suddenly have a huge tower out of nowhere with technology they didn't have in the previous season. No explanation about it whatsoever.

In some ways they are moving very slow, with the flashbacks. At the same they gloss over stuff that really needs explaining or at least introduced.

Why does deathstroke wear a mask, has a voice modulator and a codename if everyone knows who he is?

Ah and Kory can stop bullets now all of a sudden. She could blast fire, fight like batman and has incredible strenght, now she can stop bullets. And they have about 8 superheroes in this team if not more. How is adding superpowers interesting? If everyone is special, no one is special. And if out heroes aren't vulnerable except for their own stupidity, where's the tension?

What was all the arguing and fear of deathstroke for if they could just go in and beat him with two people?
