Titans: Deathstroke (2019)
Season 2, Episode 5
10/10
Deathstroke's plan unfolds more clearly in this amazing episode with magnificent acting and character development
5 October 2019
The story and character development progress a lot in this episode as we get to see more of Deathstroke's plan play out. I've been very positive with the writing and overall dialogue of this season and this episode continues with only it getting better and better. It ultimately gave us a really great episode with strong writing and acting. The season have built up this villain, Slade since episode 2 and here we finally get to see him in action in one of the series best fight sequences that gave us variety and a good combination of our heroes powers and strengths. The visual effects, directing and choreography was some other things that were great. The episode left us on our seat and desperately waiting for the next episode, so far a really great season!

The best acting of the episode goes for the the actors that play Hank and Dawn. Strong performances from them and another one was Enai Morales as Slade Wilson, he truly captured the bad ass character we know well from the comics. One thing I want to point out is that Kory, a well known and well liked character from the animated series and comics are finally in my eyes almost there to be the character we know and love as it haven't really been a good adaption from her start in the first season but now I see the promise in what the writers are doing and I have come to like Anna Diop as Starfire.

One negative thing that I've to make a comment about is that the heroes really need to use their costumes. It doesn't really make much sense for it, Grayson I understand but the others not so much. We got an explanation why Gar never transformed though so I'm glad for that. I hope the Nightwing suit will be good, I got high hopes for that!
