You are in for a rare treat! When the only 10 star review is from an "actor" who was in the movie (I kid you not), you know it's going to be good.

It is clearly low budget,no knowings how vikings lived,the clothes are wrong,jewelry,swords and so on and so on.I say;
Don´t watch this movie, vikings where not like those people in this horrible movie.

Warning: Spoilers
Berserker Vikings invade Shetland Island (the one with lots of trees and not the historical Shetland Island) and are crazed with having the locals in one on one combat. The Vikings have large plastic swords with no point or sharp edge. You can see the plastic mold break on the tip. They place drum rings around their captured victims, rings that easily slip off the head. It was a horrible movie all around.

Should be called "Viking After School Squabble"

I've seen much better costumes at Renaissance fairs. The actors themselves were pretty good, its just that putting dirt and mud all over ones face and acting like a child does not a Viking make. It actually had a decent story line. I dont see what constitutes a war here, there are like 12 people in the whole movie. In all it was just too silly.

Everything with this movie is wrong. The costumes, the setting, the speaker.
It claims to be in Shetland Islands and at the same time it hoovers over a inland forest river. The fights is as convincing as if my children would had been stuntcoordinators and the pace is so slow you fall azzz...
What an amateur film, very low budget and poor

Not the best Viking movie

The sword play, well I have seen better with kids and sticks in the playground. The story was OK but the action left a lot to be desired. Gunner was the only believable Berserker and Darcie Lincoln wasn't too shabby in both the acting and on the eye. But overall this was a bit of a let down. Could have been so much more if the action was actually believable
Worth watching

Warning: Spoilers
Directed by Louisa Warren, (who brought us 'Pagan Warrior', 'The Tooth Fairy', 'Scarecrow Rising' and 'The Ghosts of Borley Rectory') this clearly low-budget venture has once more been written off by a number of online critics because ... it's a low-budget venture. With that in mind, one can either admire the ambition of such a production as this, featuring much physical conflict and extensive location filming, or moan about the occasionally stilted acting and tepid fight choreography from the performers.
I'm a big fan of low-budget films. Any lack of resource is often more than made up for by freedom of ideas and lack of pandering to high-flying producers (no pun intended - this is distributed by High Fliers films) and demographics.
I enjoyed this. There's a good story being told, some impassioned performances and a genuine build up of tension as the tale progresses. There are some pacing issues, and some characters' antics suffer from a certain repetition. Lead Ingrid (Darcie Rose) in particular, looks far too modern, as do some of the others, but is played well enough to excuse that. Darrell Griggs is especially good as the unhinged Gunner and Peter Cosgrove snorts and snarls nicely as Snorre. Technically, the production is faultless - great use is made of locations. Mr score is 7 out of 10.

Worst movie ever made!!!

This is like a low budget school play! Worst acting worst story line I would consider life if I had anything to do with it..... can't believe I lasted an hour into the film just hoping for something to happen worth watching ... please the people that wrote this and produced it just give up. Film making is not for you and the actors OMG I could do a better job and I've never acted a day in my life . What's even the point in this film delete it and hope no more eyes are left bleeding in the world from it .
Worse than a junior school play

Appalling acting and shocking script. It would be difficult to make such a bad film unless you lacked complete talent. The dialogue is unusual In that there is a constant misuse of the old English thee and thou - a basic knowledge of Shakespeare would teach you this. The best actors were the horses.
Best worst movie never watched

So I wrote this review based on other reviews. According to them, it really sucked. So I would not recommend this movie based on their reviews. If I could give this a 0/10 I would simply because the title makes it seem more like a documentary that what it apparently is attempting to portray. I'm going to take the advice of the other reviewers and just ignore this movie.
Makes me wonder if this movie is just one long stream of captioned rolling waves. One wave comes in and you see SCREAMING, the wave leaves and another comes followed by SCREAMING, and so on for an hour. On the other hand.... nope, that would have been a good movie.

That's an hour and 43 minutes of my life that i will never get back. Did any of these actors have any training when it came to sword play, look like they were just going through the motions. Just where did they come up with the swords, sounded like they were made out of tin.
Do yourself a favor and pass on this film.

By fare the worst viking film i have seen (almost), managed to watch only 20min of this garbage. Several actors didn't look much scandinavian, unrealistic haircut, stoopid costumes especially one in a blue miniskirt and the tractor tracks in a field really set the low standard.

So Bad It Must Be On Purpose
jleonardiv22 December 2023
This movie (like others on ThisTV) is so awful that it's quite possible it was by design. Just by mere chance, I don't believe it's possible to have such poor acting. This is of the same "quality" as "The Last Days of Billy The Kid." Just pathetic from top to bottom. It's almost as if movies like this were created / produced by the U. S. government. Your time would be better spent watching grass grow (even in the dormant winter season) or paint drying. Also, I believe the costumes were purchased on clearance from Party City. Lastly, these actors don't look very Nordic... more like they were picked up from a trailer park.
War of will to watch to the end!

Where to begin?
This was a struggle. So lets see, that is an hour and 43 minutes of my life that I will never ever get back.
I don't want to sound bad but these actors must not have any training or experience when it came to sword fighting, It looked like kids just playing around and the swords, looked plastic.
The acting is just the worst, not sure how any one can be so bad.
I did like some of the music.
What was the story, I still don't know. I guess somewhere someone likes this but not me.
This really was a War of will to watch to the end!
Vikings dud film. Not sure why i came or who told me to watch this.
