Luster is fading

Episode 1.5 leaves me with a feeling of unease.

Poor dialog between Ward and Danny. Danny is oblivious on how to logically communicate with h others.

Danny barely holds his own fighting flunkies, whether it is because he really isn't all that great unless his hands are glowing or what, but people get hurt and almost killed while flunkies fight against him.

The series has potential, and there are some interesting things happening, but I'm less optimistic as we finish episode 1.5.

Episode Five - Colha a Lótus Sob as Folhas

Madame Gao may not be the best villain on Netflix/Marvel, I think Kilgrave is the best and Wilson Fisk is the second best, but without a doubt, she is the one who gives me the most chills.

Miracle that Claire didn't show up to save the hero/heroine.

It must be very expensive to CGI Danny's firefly fist, right? It must appear for about ten seconds per episode and then go out, does it need a battery?

I'm keeping the rating six for each episode based on hate, because there are some really bad things, but there's usually something in the episodes that doesn't let me lower the rating any further, like the scene of Madame Gao killing the henchman at the end of the episode, Coleen being the most interesting and tolerable character in this series, and Claire's participation was interesting, especially her serving as a candle for the lovebirds and then taking some lunch boxes home.

Episode five of the first season of the Punho de Ferro series watched on June 9, 2024.

Rating: 6/10.

Episode 105

The show finally lived up to the hype of its bad reviews with this episode. From scenes involving heroin to the obligatory Marvel Universe scene where Claire pulls off incredible feats of medicine, this had all the worst things about Netflix shows.

Not a good episode here.

You can count on Mr. Ironfist to let you down, when he's fighting against one person and something, anything is at stake :P

If you haven't watched this episode yet, prepare yourself for a ton of clichés.

Just a typical episode here, everything is rather predictable and well choreographed in advance, and nothing surprises.
