The only complaint I have about this season is the policeman subplot. It's been dragged out for a while and I still don't quite understand his purpose and relation to the rest of the plot. I do see that he's going through some changes but fail to see the significance of it as of now.

However, the rest of the show has been progressing like classic Narcos. I love that the show ties in actual historical events such as NAFTA and how that affected the drug business. It's amazing to see how the death of one man cascaded into so many different events.

I can understand that peoples complaint about the show may stem from a lack of a strong central character like Felix or Escobar but regardless still a brilliant show.

Boring

This season is terribly boring. Nothing exciting is happening for entire episodes. This is my last one..it actually took me four different tries to get thru it and at the end I was annoyed I wasted so much time on it. Terrible!

"Boots on the Ground" really summed up what is wrong with Narcos: Mexico this season. There are about 12-15 minutes each episode with really strong content that plays into the traditional tone of the series and hooks you in. And then the rest of the episode is just kind of there.

We got our wild fight scene and escape from police and civilians again, but the substance of the story appears to be running on fumes at this point. There is a lot of interesting things they could have these cartels doing and instead they seem to be playing to the lowest common denominator with just cheap thrills of violence.
