To the end of the world
Prekteacher1229 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I have been enjoying this season. There have been some uneven moments but overall I have been enjoying the season. Klaus, Five and Diego are my favorites as always. Lila and Diego are great comedic reliefs. I'm enjoying Viktor as well.

It's been interesting seeing Alison's spiral downwards and anger taking over. I certainly understand her feelings and her rage but I mean, they are in a different timeline, did she and anyone expect they could just pick up where they left off? I also understand Viktor's impossible situation. Let's be real, the family still view him as an outsider and dangerous. **Mild Spoiler**Five's little speech to Viktor about "killing him himself" was a bit over blown. Why side with Alison? Yes, Viktor should have told them what he learned about Harlan being the reason their mother's are dead. They refused to listen to any perspective and were willing to play God; be judge, jury and executioner. I'm tired of seeing Viktor being beaten down and made to feel little.

Amazing work, but...

Even if we hated or loved the episode, we have to acknowledge the amazing soundtracks of this episode. Besides that, everything is moving a bit slow for my taste, but I'm still enjoying it. Plus, I don't get the hate Allison is getting, i mean she is annoying but still. I understand why she became the way she is.

Allison, the Drunk
Hitchcoc26 September 2023
I guess the writers want us to see Allison as a worthless, self serving drunk. She finds out about Harlan's killing of the mothers and blames Viktor for not telling her (even though he had nothing to do with anything). The joining of forces with the Sparrows ends in a mess. Thinking they have subdued the monster in a box, things aren't always what they seem. Five is trying to get people to act in a sane and compromising way, but they are not going to do that. Klaus confronts death in multiple ways with his father pushing him. The thing is that the final scenes make no sense. I wonder where this can go in just two more episodes.

Finally

Warning: Spoilers
This show has been mediocre at best. I just couldn't feel invested in the show. The characters are pretty blend. I don't like the way 5 and Klaus are portrayed (overacted). Luther is ok but they make him stupid for - bad - jokes and Diego is just... well empty...

Vanja/Victor and Ben have some nice mystery and Alisson is the only really interesting one for me. She's more layered, more real, more a person than all the others.

But my biggest problem with the show is: the problem is so badly defined, so hollow. 'The end of the world' and 'the apocalyps'. And that's pretty much all we have to deal with. That is so generic, so uninspired and so for me as a viewer so meaningless. Because of that I miss depth in this show. But I kept watching because... well I don't know.

Anyway, I liked this episode and especially because of the Alisson-Victor-conflict. I think the scene in the beginning of the episode has been the first one in two seasons that really got me on the edge of my seat. That was tension, emotion. More of that please

Bit disappointing though that Victor just came back down after Ben came looking for him. That took a bit away from the.gravity of the fight.

Also the rest of the episode wasn't that bad, they're finally working together, so yeah 8/10.

Awesome episode
That fight between Viktor and Alisson was awesome and I loved the families working together. One or my favorite episodes of the season, no doubt about it.

Don't Hate it but..........
sjstobo2220 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I'm not hating season 3 but it's definitely lost the charm that I loved about 1 & 2.

The two reasons why this season lacks the charm is 1. The humour that made it great seems lacklustre and 2. Allison's arc.

Yes she lost her daughter but she's the reason why she lost her. Then she lost Ray but she made the decision to leave, she could have just stayed.

Instead of putting the blame on herself she transferred it to Viktor who I really don't think has done anything wrong.

This darker Allison is not sitting well and it's not going to stop me watching this as Five, Viktor, Luther and Klaus are the ones that make me stay.

In fact it's mainly Klaus aka Robert Sheehan that just keep me there, he's just so quirky and I love that.

Toast to the end of days

Well that not at all where I saw that one going, so cheers to many more slightly off the wall plot twists. Some interesting shots, storyline is moving slow.

[6.8] How to "upgrade" Christopher to its greedy self
cjonesas9 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 7: There's almost no storyline that's moving slow, average or fast. Just bunch of scenes, pictures and moments. The VFX/CGI is good though and along with the very good score/soundtrack contributes semi-greatly to raise the quality of the episode.

So far, 70% in, the whole vibe of this season is one lackluster and dismal vibe.

Every actor in the latest installment performs subpar to their true selves and that's because of the poor job that the writers keep doing.

Allison makes the show unwatchable
ossumpawesome26 June 2022
The pacing of the season is excruciatingly slow, but what makes it really awful is the character of Allison and everything surrounding her sub-plot. It is slow, infuriatingly frustrating to watch, and without any meaningful impact on the rest of the plot or characters.

Always had a bad feeling about alisson
ingridgea27 June 2022
When everyone used to love her in past seasons i used to hate her. She is too entitled for what??? Now coming after viktor (vanya)???? For whattt??? Leave him alone you were the one who decided to risk leaving your goddamn daughter. She brings her daughter into everything as if she was obliged to leave her. You could have stayed with her and been a mother but you chose the superhero life then DEAL WITH IT. I am so annoyed at her and while it is just a tv show i am genuinely about to punch her through the screen.

Days of Our Lives

The drama really detracts from the story. There are certainly other redeeming parts, but now we all just hate Allison. Boo hoo woe is me. That subplot is really getting old.

This show has become extremely incoherent
euamogubert11 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This season has so many flaws that it is hard to write a review covering everything wrong.

Imagine your sibling betraying you and killing someone that you held very dear and wanted to help. I think anyone would agree that this would be atrocious and unforgivable.

Somehow to the writers of this season, which i dont think are the same ones from the other two seasons, not only that is fine but all your siblings would also side with the killer. All characters reactions seem forced, almost nobody makes sense in the show anymore, which is sad because to me this was an extremely good show.
