Every episode is creatively entertaining. It sucks you in wanting more and wondering what comes next. Very clever story line! Can't wait for season 2!

Allah knows?!

As a muslim, this is -by far- the funniest thing I've ever heard about muslims jokes. And this episode is the of the best in this show.

Get with the times

This show has more humerus moments in one episode than most comedies have in a season. It is inclusive of more races, religions and ethnicities than most 60's and 70's comedies had in their entire multi year runs. I think these unfamiliar perspectives pose anxiety and concern for viewers unaccustomed to being taken out of their comfort zones. My advice is to suspend your preconceived views and check your disbeliefs at the door and just enjoy the series. I really feel this series has the potential to become a classic that will withstand the test of time. For those who are unable or unwilling to enjoy the show simply for what it is, well to steal a quote from the movie Stripes, "lighten up Francis."

I've really enjoyed this so far. A little bit morbid, but really funny. Definitely LOL moments. Hope the second season will be as good as the first.

I like good satire Warning: Spoilers
The whole premise of the show is satirical, of course, but it's the rare moments of brilliance that make RESIDENT ALIEN special.

Viewing the world from the perspective of an alien that is only marginally smarter than humans is an interesting point of view, and it gives us full access to the absurdity of human endeavors. It points out the fallacies involved in our bigorty and doublethink with cleverly thrown in lines like the one by little burqa girl about strong women.

What do you mean, "that's not satire"? Are you sure about that?

Because if not, it would be a completely inappropriate joke on the backs of countless oppressed women in muslim communities who are forced to wear those burqas.

Nah, you're tripping. How smart of them.

Crazy Something Abnormal
Wolfgang82852 April 2021
My headline parodies the Norwegian band Donkeyboy's hit "Crazy Something Normal" (2014).

Resident Alien is weird, crazy, truly enjoyable - and rather abnormal as a sci-fi comedy drama. There are some holes in the storyline that are easily covered up by each episodes silliness. And it being SILLY is what hooks me to the series.

As the episodes reached the first season's finale, I suspected it would be just a one-season series: The funny alien gets away, mankind is spared, everyone is happy. But I was surprised at the cargo this series has packed! Can't wait for season two of more crazy something abnormal.

Welcome Aliens
Prismark1010 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The most inspired part of the episode was Harry and Asta go to an Alien convention to look for some alien tech that Harry needs.

However as people tell their stories about alien abduction. Peter Bach (Terry O'Quinn) the alien hunter sees through Harry's human disguise.

Harry has fun telling Asta about the different alien species. He also manages to grow his leg back.

The penultimate episode of the first season has to wrap some threads up. I did think the Sheriff arresting the killer of Dr Sam was underwhelming.

Much better was the Sheriff making such a public statement to reconcile with his deputy.

Welcome Aliens.

Warning: Spoilers
As always it's so up and down, but it's especially random right now and that's good. It's an opportune place to be, with Terry O'Quinn making an appearance. Like I said though, they would have been better off telling D'Arcy, as now she's snooping on her own, though they may turn it around in some way.

The most flawed episode
shefchenko23 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
First we've got a little girl who behaves like a feminist- a big minus; second we are still keeping with the minority man+ a woman couples; then there was probably the biggest arrest that this town has ever seen, and people in the salon barely reacted or noticed it (mostly the director's fault) . Until these moments, this show have been going up in my top list and slowly turning into a favorite. Right now, I'm not so sure. I get that they joke about woke PC culture, but at the same time they are pushing it blatantly in our faces. Hope this was an isolated case.

EDIT: I completely forgot about the music part, and how when you are in a someone else's basement, you just gotta break their fridge...Utter bs...Ugh!

After watching E09 I felt that it couldnt get anyworse, I felt it had been written by a 12yr old as it was so bad. Im still waiting for the comedy side of it to show up, they must of fired the script writer for those bits (lucky sod).
