Warning: Spoilers
Clown Doll (2019) is a movie I recently streamed off Tubi for free and focuses on a possessed clown doll. The doll is purchased by a woman who is serving as a surrogate mother for her sister. When the doll starts killing everyone around the sister, people begin thinking the sister is crazy and put procedures in place to protect the baby. This movie is directed by Scott Jeffrey (The Bad Nun) and stars Sarah Cohen (The Gardner), Peter Cosgrove (The Curse of Halloween Jack), Kate Milner Evans (A Killer Next Door) and Carmina Cardelia (Cyber Bride). The storyline for this picture had potential but the clown doll could have been better, creepier and looked more like the clown on the movie poster. I liked the doubt consistently thrown the sisters way and felt this could have been better with a bigger budget; but as is, this is a below average addition to the genre that is worth a viewing. I'd score this a 4/10.
