U.S. Navy U.S.S. George Washington Decommissioned 1985, Commissioned 1959.

Torpedo Tubes have manual overrides especially on older Boats (Submarines). Other method from previous training as an Officer on a Boat (668i, Submarine) and BUD/S, open the outer torpedo tube door. New Boats (Submarines) the electric solenoid "lock" is easily bypassed or even unbolted.

Most U.S. Navy S.E.A.L. Teams have at least one Thermite Grenade, that would cut the hinges off in seconds, but may also burn thru the decks and the outer hull in seconds also.

There is the current very old "British Thermal Arc Cutting Torch", that even when I as a U.S. Military Officer training with the U.S. Navy there was at least one set on board ships, and boats (submarines), can cut thru 4 inches steel like a bank vault door in seconds, usually used to rescue trapped sailors stuck water tight doors, or under steel debris.
