Atticus (Jonathan Majors) comes from a blood line of the founder of the "Sons of Adam" They want to use his blood to gain immortality and return to the Garden.
The film takes place in 1955 with flashbacks. The Braithwhite family is almost freakish albino looking as a contrast. The first couple of episodes had me hooked, but the series went down from there. The whole Korean episode was a waste. I understand they needed it for 30 seconds of the ending, but they could have done better. The film combines Lovecraft with Black History and some shapeshifting. I thought the ending was messed up.
