When comedian Chloe Radcliffe cheated on a boyfriend for the first time, as a sophomore at Minnesota’s Gustavus Adolphus College in 2009, she had an epiphany.
“You realize you don’t burst into flames. The person that you’re cheating on doesn’t find out,” Radcliffe explains. “You can still care about them; you can care about multiple people at once.”
Eventually, when Radcliffe resolved to end this relationship, she was surprised to learn that the request could be shut down out of hand. “I think I learned very early that it would be easier to cheat and get away with it than it would be to end a relationship when it was ready to be ended,” she says, “and so I developed this pattern of staying in relationships too long and just cheating, rather than getting out of them.”
So began a years-long pattern of infidelity that Radcliffe chronicles in Cheat,...

Hackers in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone are having fun flying helicopters to outer space, getting grenade launcher kills from sniping range, and doing what not to ruin the game’s experience. That doesn’t mean the CoD team is just sitting back, they are observing too. Since the introduction of the game’s anti-cheat system, Ricochet, they have barred a large number of accounts from the game using hacker mods.
Last year, they instituted a concept called “splat.” As the name suggests, it can flatten a player on the ground, giving it a fine coat of red, something that Splatoon players will find amusing. What the system does is cut a player’s parachute upon detecting them using a hacked version of the game. What follows isn’t that hard to imagine.

There has always been a strand within horror cinema fascinated by, for want of a better term, the wages of sin – by seeing people punished for committing acts deemed immoral, even when very similar acts have probably been committed by at least half of the people in the audience. Just what counts as immoral has evolved over the years, and some films, like Ben Wheatley’s Sightseers, have pointed out that there’s no limit to how petty a killer’s approach can get when all that’s really desired is an excuse. Latterly, though – perhaps prompted by the polarisation of society at large – a conversation has begun to emerge about just where the harm in particular choices lies. On the surface, Cheat may look like a conventional supernatural thriller in which sexual betrayal is punished by death, but underneath it’s something quite a bit smarter.
It begins with a flashback scene.

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, her funeral was held on Sept. 19, 2022, at Westminster Abbey and it was watched by millions of people around the world.
Cameras captured so many moments between the members of the family who gathered to honor the late monarch’s life and say goodbye, that there are still discussions about some of the things royal watchers witnessed that day. And one has to do with the reports that Queen Camilla (formerly known as Camilla Parker Bowles) scolded the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) over Princess Charlotte’s behavior. Now, a video suggesting that Camilla was gesturing to Kate to get Charlotte to hush is making the rounds. But a body language expert is explaining why the new queen couldn’t correct Charlotte herself in public.

Danny Dyer has discussed his controversial column in Zoo magazine, in which he gave such abhorrent dating advice that he was fired from his role as agony uncle.
In 2010, the former EastEnders star was sacked from the publication – which closed in 2015 – for advising a man who couldn’t get over his ex-girlfriend to “cut his ex’s face, then no one will want her”.
There was uproar over the piece at the time, which was ghost-written by a journalist who Dyer was dictating to over the phone, and it has tarnished Dyer’s reputation.
Speaking in a new interview with The Times Magazine, Dyer said: “People still hate me for that.”
He continued: “The line is a quote from a film I’d done, but the idea I would advise someone to do it repulsed me. It was a joke. I don’t know why the editor or sub-editor thought it Ok to print that.

With the sleepy release months of January and February behind us, the time has come to enter March, where a deluge of exciting titles await. Prepare for the much-anticipated return of fan-favorite TV series: everything from "The Mandalorian" and "Ted Lasso" to "Succession" and "Yellowjackets." Even "Riverdale" is on the way back, if that's the kind of chaos that you're into! But enough about other streaming services — what's going on over at Netflix, the Og spot for a weekend binge?
The streamer has recently revealed their release slate, detailing everything to come in March 2023 and there's a lot going on. March is a time for madness, whether it comes from basketball, Mercury retrograde, or a person’s home streaming habits. Netflix joins in on the chaos by updating its library with all three “Hangover” movies, a whole lot of workout content, “Magic Mike Xxl,” and much, much more.
On March 9, the streamer will premiere Part 2 of “You” Season 2, starring Penn Badgley, Charlotte Ritchie, and Ed Speleers. The five remaining episodes find Joe (Badgley) trapped in a volatile dance with London mayoral candidate and serial killer Rhys (Speleers), trying to prevent more murders but also not go down for the many he’s committed in the process. The trailer shows Joe and Kate (Ritchie) growing closer, more brushes with Kate’s wealthy socialite friends, and the return of Victoria Pedretti as Joe’s wife Love — or maybe the ghost of his wife, and of sins past.

Erin's faith in "Midnight Mass" is complicated yet pure. She's someone seeking community and peace, but at the same time, that respectful desire was born out of hardship and tragedy. She escaped her home and her mother, who called her a "godless heathen," only to return and continue to struggle with the past. She's one of the many rich characters in "Midnight Mass," which is another Mike Flanagan project that delivers equally compelling drama and horror.
For actor Kate Siegel, who also starred in "The Haunting of Hill House" and "Hush," Erin is a refreshing depiction of a churchgoer.

Netflix has wrapped the shoot for the second season of hit show “The Witcher” at U.K. locations. It has been a stop-start process for the production after being paused a few times over the last year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Showtime is moving Ethan Hawke’s The Good Lord Bird later in the year – a shift designed to put more context around the abolitionist miniseries as the focus sharpens on the issue of systemic racism in the U.S.
The Hawke drama was originally intended to premiere on August 9 but will now move its launch to October 4 in a slightly earlier slot – 9pm rather than 10pm.
The series, which is based on James McBride’s award-winning novel, is told from the point of view of Onion (Joshua Caleb Johnson), a fictional enslaved boy who becomes a member of John Brown’s motley family of abolitionist soldiers and eventually finds himself participating in the famous 1859 raid at Harpers Ferry. Brown’s raid failed to initiate the slave revolt he intended but was a key instigating event of the Civil War.

The UK iteration of BritBox, the Svod service run by ITV and the BBC, is set to launch in the second half of 2019.
ITV CEO Carolyn McCall said the digital platform was “on track” to make its launch by the end of the year. This comes as the commercial British broadcaster faces a number of advertising challenges. Total advertisting was down 7% across the first quarter of the year with broadcast and online revenue also down 7% to £489M (Us$637M) in the period.
McCall noted that total advertising was also expected to be down 6% over the first half of 2019 as ITV is impacted by the “continuing economic and political uncertainty and its effect on the demand for advertising” and the absence of a major football tournament in the summer.
One bright spot was the continued performance of ITV Studios, the production company that makes shows including Love Island and Bodyguard, which saw revenue up 1% to £385M.
