Played "Dorothy Gale" in the 1987 premiere production of the RSC's "Wizard of Oz". The play was written by John Kane and based on both the original 1900 book by Frank Baum and the 1939 MGM Film. The show was revived the following year with Gillian Beven in the role of "Dorothy". Staunton's other RSC credits include Thomas Heywood's "The Fiar Made of the West" (1986) and "They Shoot Horses Don't They?" (1987). more
