They were not empty threats
SJulien123 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The episode begins as Bea and Jacs recover from their injuries and viewers understand that Smith has become an important player in the prison. we learn more about Jacqueline's troubled family. Her husband visits her and announces that he has divorced her. Exhausted and without any more power, Jacs desires to commit a last act of revenge. The question I have been asking myself since the beginning of the series is: where is Harry?? He knows that his wife is in prison, that his daughter is receiving threats, and nothing seems to alarm him. I really like the scene where we are led to believe that Will is dealing with the contraband for Jacs, but that it is really Vera who collaborates with the Top Dog. At least Bea was entitled to a nice last conversation with Debbie before the devastating event that will transform our protagonist forever.

The sequence bringing this episode to a close is a wonderfully composed piece of TV. Filled with emotion and drama and set to a quite incredible piece of music . One of the most memorable few minutes I have ever seen in this or any series. Congrats to the producers and the soundtrack artist.

Warning: Spoilers
Bea is back at her own unit after being at the hospital unit. Erica wants Jacs in protection for her remaining punishment. Brayden Holt and Debby are in love now and using heroine. Jacs is mad because her husband tells her he wants to marry another wife. Vera transports drugs into the prison for Jacs after that she hyperventilated. Brayden gives Debby a overdose of heroine, she died after that overdose. Really good and solid episode of Wentworth Season 1, with the death of Debby Smith there are some things to happen.

This episode gave me whiplash, so much going on and I am first class hooked. The storyline developments are getting good, adding depth to the characters and setting up for emotional scenes.
