Funny, dramatic, well executed and vastly superior to its preceding episodes!

Lauren Ambrose shines in this episode as Claire, where the dark comical of this family reaches a new height, evidently from the plot of the episode involving a missing foot. Upon Nate's "revelation", he is alerted from Gilardi of a cheap crematorium likely to drive in more customers, and thus, run them out of business; just as things can't get any worse, Thomas Alfredo Ramono, now merely blood and guts, is left in the hands of Nate, who soon realises his foot is missing. Unbeknownst to Nate, David or Rico, Claire has taken the foot to get revenge on being exploited and mocked by her schoolmates for her private time with her now ex-boyfriend.

Mrs. Ruth Fisher finds herself in a financial adversity upon making a series of bets at the racetrack with friend, Amelia after initially doing so well, getting up to $9000 before things take a turn for the worst. Claire's revenge plan sparks to life as Gabe gets Claire into trouble with the Principal. Claire and Keith go out searching for the foot in the last place where it was left, but there is no such luck. Claire reveals to Keith that she is aware both him and her brother are a couple, and tries to understand what Keith sees in him. As Claire returns home after Romano's funeral with some cover-ups, she reveals the house across the street is burning down. Meanwhile, Brenda has a secret of her own.

The character interactions in this episode were great. Compared to the previous two episodes, there were a lot of story progression and more comedy relief, as well as a tight structure and fitting climax for a very satisfying episode overall.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is much better than the last, but only in terms of enjoyment not much in quality. This is mostly because "The Will" was a development episode that was drowning in depressingness and this episode is just completely off the rails. It literally starts with some dude being hacked up like sushi and the comedy kind of goes off from there with trying to recover and reassemble this dude's mangled body. It's awful to even think about someone getting messed up like that, but the way they go about trying to set up a funeral for this man is so funny. Like how they promise the family that he will be back to normal, but you can tell their obvious nervousness as to whether or not its even possible. Then. There's the lost foot situation. Which is even more absurd, because the annoying girl takes it to prank this dude who broke her heart. I appreciate that this episode felt less like a train of emotions and instead like one central conflict that everyone was trying to solve. I feel like its only gonna get more absurd from here, oh my days.

Searching for a foot

Wow, this episode made me laugh hard!

From the moment that the dead person arrives to the morgue, and a vengeful Claire steals a part of his body, every single moment is hilarious.

I loved how Claire was intelligent enough to find out her brother was gay, and Keith's speech about loving him is very beautiful.

Loved this one a lot. I'm starting to love this family...
