The crew are ready to quit their jobs after a visit to the cannibal planet but soon change their minds when the Professor tells them that he is taking everybody on a cruise. The omens aren't good though; they are booked on the maiden flight of the space liner Titanic! Things look even worse when acting captain Zapp Brannigan decides the set course is too boring and would rather take a course though an area with lots of comets, or as he calls them 'the icebergs of the sky'! It isn't all disaster though; romance is in the air as Bender falls for a rather posh robot, Countess de la Roca, and Fry has to pretend to be Leela's Fiancé to avert Zapp's attentions and Amy's girlfriend to stop her parents trying to set her up with any bloke who might provide them with grandchildren.
It was good to see quality characters Zapp and Kif return in this episode; Zapp is just as stupid as ever and just as keen on Leela; ultimately though it is Kif that ends up with his arms around a beautiful woman! The scenes where Fry was pretending to be with Leela and Amy alternately were pretty funny and it was nice to see that Leela seemed to be more than a little jealous when he was with Amy. Bender's story makes a change from his usual behaviour as he appears to genuinely care about the Countess de la Roca and it was rather funny when it emerged that she wasn't just a member of a yacht club; she was a yacht!
