Magic is so cool.

One paragraph plot: Sam's mother comes to see her daughter. While talking, Darin comes back home. Sam's mother was watching her daughter with her ordinary human being husband. Darin finds a house for the future life and wants Sam to take a look. The next day, Sam and her mother go there and take a look. While looking the whole house, Sam and her mother uses magic to create a house that's going to be in the future. Meanwhile, a neighbour across the street sees it and wants to make sure that she isn't seeing things. When Darin comes to that house, Sam tells Darin that her mother is also here and wants him to meet her. At the same time, that neighbour rings the doorbell. Darin thinks the one at the doorstep is Sam's mother, so, he greets him with a kiss. Neighbour yells and goes back to her house. Darin left at the doorstep meddled.

Episode 2 is kind of nice one because we can see some magic. In this episode, the way Sam and her mother uses magic to create the decorations is so cool. When I saw that scene, I even want to learn magic. Her mother seems to be rude and not friendly, but she seems to have a pure heart and kindness. I really want her to meet Darin sooner. As for conclusion, Sam and her mother use magic without caring the fact that someone might see them. Because of the use of magic, this episode becomes cool and I totally love it.

Get a gander at what passed for a starter home in 1964
AlsExGal1 January 2024
Newlyweds Darrin and Samantha have found what they consider to be their dream home. Who wouldn't think it's their dream home? It's got multiple living areas, a huge kitchen, and an expansive upstairs and several bedrooms. It looks to be about 3000 square feet. I couldn't afford such a home until I was 37 and making a good salary. Here there is no talk of rising interest rates, or worrying if Darrin gets laid off, or any one of a dozen questions that are asked on sitcoms a dozen years later when somebody wants to buy a house. Because it is 1964 and most people in America in the early to mid 60s are still living in the 50s in many ways.

Darrin has not yet met Samantha's mother at this point, and there is a misunderstanding where Darrin thinks nosey neighbor Alice Kravitz is his mother-in-law, embraces her, and calls her mother. Mrs. Kravitz runs to the safety of home. Here, in the beginning, her husband at least acknowledges that she exists by feeding her medicine that is supposedly for her delusions. In later episodes he ignores her entirely and just reads his newspaper. Only in their 40s and too young to retire, I always wondered how the Kravitz's made their money.
