What a pointless little movie about nothing this is! Someone seriously rode the subsidy gravy-train to make this pile of rubbish. I love the way every national stereotype of Europeans is mocked here and rejected as untrue- EXCEPT the British ones- uptight goody-goody girl who would rather be serious and work than party, along with her loud-mouthed yobbish brother with his moronic drunken behaviour and offensive comments to his Spanish hosts and a German student. Those stereotypes are fine apparently. So what do we learn from this movie? Student leaves for a year, has some standard student fun, returns home to begin a serious life in a boring office, can't stand the idea and so doesn't do it. Wow.
