Strange situation, with this movie. So far, December 22nd. This will be its first review. Yet it has a 9+ IMDb rating, with mostly "10" votes. All for a movie with no well-regarded actros.
What is going on here? Not to be a conspiracy nut but, you think maybe friends and family of the filmmakers and actors are putting in high votes to prop up this movie and gain some interest? I'd never suggest that, but I find myself wondering that.
Early in the movie she says that she likes to influence others, like where to shop. This sets up her shallowness. Ultimately she gets in a bind, finds refuge and work at a shelter, and gains a better appreciation for what it means to be a positive influencer. This is a faith-based story.
My advice? See it if it is free, you can always abandon it after 10 or 15 minutes if it doesn't engage you. Or, watch it all the way through. If it turns out to be a real dud then watching it will help you appreciate really good movies.
