I wanted to love this series because it's supposed to be about Selena but it's mostly not. It does touch on Selena but mostly it's about her family, namely her dad and brother. It feels like it doesn't so much tell her story and since her name is the title you'd think it would more. The acting isn't bad but the girl playing her doesn't much look like her and her mannerisms aren't consistent with Selena. I heard her family minus her husband were behind this and I feel like they're just still using her name for money. You didn't do her justice and with no input from Chris Perez it really shows. If you want a better picture of Selena and her life watch the movie with Jennifer Lopez.
