Yes according to some western standards it has overacting and a predictable plot... but it's nice to watch and bserve the cultural differences with our society and ways of working...
I watched it with pleasure for that reason... it's a kind of Korean Cinderella version...
All the standard plot ingredients are there including an evil stepsister (?) ... at the same time some of grandma's food I would love to try myself...
The young couple play it cool... the series also touches on fundamental issues of live... work/life balance, what can a boss or hotel guest ask you to do or not, where 's the line between service or personal integrity...
So, you may warch it as an ordinary simple Korean sitcom like series... or you observe a new generation trying to find out what part of the culture needs to be innovated...

First of all this is a comedy and fantasy film. Don't expect it to be realistic in a sense that the plot evolves as if it was possible in real life. There are no extraterrestrial kids...
Even French women can't travel trough the jungle with a trolly... so, it's a fun to watch comedy...
When you know something about the French life style there are several funny jokes in it... a man in the middle of the jungle enjoying a bottle of Bordeaux wine, and watching a cooking channel is one... you find the others... like how the two lead characters interact...
At one point it get a fairytale ending... a deeper touch if you like... all about getting old and death... never heavy always light tough...
I recommend watching it, if you feel for a straight forward simple fun fantasy comedy.

I found this movie entertaining in a good way. A few hours away from this world, moving into another. To discover it's not that different after all... so... I really don't understand why some are so negative about it.
Yes, it's fantasy, yes it's a plot we have seen before... but most movies aren't unique at all... I like the actors and their play. I liked the music... it's pleasant to listen to... perhaps it's not following the classical score I couldn't tell, but frankly I don't care either... if you want a concert, just go and buy a ticket for that ... and most of all I liked the cution it brings when it comes to trusting people... I liked the thought about self-confidence presented...

Most reviews tell us what actions they don't like or the fun of the plot...
In my opinion this movie scenario goes beyond that... yes, some unrealistic action is shown, but that's true for almost any action movie.
On the deeper layer this is about how people can be manipulated by the rich... how other rich or those with power feel so much superior... Is it a political movie, mat be... I felt it was about the weakness of a power system and how a few righteous are needed for balance...

Great movie! It makes you witness of the events that occurred on the days after Jesus death and beyond.

The dance like action continues throughout the movie, which makes it boring to watch at certain times...

what we humans are capable of doing when we are scared or made believe we are under threat from an enemy... especially when everyone has a gun...

The song were (for us) not really necessary... on the other hand it gave a musical style feel...

This movie seemed farfetched at the time of release. Now just a few years later, it kind of came to reality with COVID. It even makes you understand why some think the virus is just a conspiracy... I found the movie in this light a most interesting action story..
If you expect a trustworthy depiction of Dante's work, you have chosen to wrong film...
The actions are ok, and I liked the play of the lead actors... their interaction is interesting to watch.. If you watch it... don't trust anyone...
Despite the negative reviews I definitely find it a good movie... absolutely entertaining....

This movie could have been much better if they hadn't exaggerated the effects scenes far beyond the reasonable... this makes it from time to time closer to a comedy than drama or disaster movie... hope one day they will recompile it and condense it by at least one hour and it will be probably excellent, because themes addressed are really relevant and well thought through
