Yes according to some western standards it has overacting and a predictable plot... but it's nice to watch and bserve the cultural differences with our society and ways of working...
I watched it with pleasure for that reason... it's a kind of Korean Cinderella version...
All the standard plot ingredients are there including an evil stepsister (?) ... at the same time some of grandma's food I would love to try myself...
The young couple play it cool... the series also touches on fundamental issues of live... work/life balance, what can a boss or hotel guest ask you to do or not, where 's the line between service or personal integrity...
So, you may warch it as an ordinary simple Korean sitcom like series... or you observe a new generation trying to find out what part of the culture needs to be innovated...
