- Jump-scare type moments speckled throughout. Many involve grotesque special effects on characters.
- Many intense scenes. Each character/storyline has its own big moment (some multiple moments) of coming face-to-face with the infected.
- A couple different scenes have infected bodies contorting & bone cracking sounds. Some scenes where infected act akin to zombies (walk, hunched, dragging a foot or arm)

Violence & Gore
- Has grotesque, gore, all part of special effects in the way people are affected. Blood, pus, boils, fluids oozing and/shooting out of bodies. Many of the characters experience cuts/gashes as well as appearance of decaying flesh.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Movie begins with person in hazmat suit, eventually finding what looks almost like charred bones. Later finds a decaying body. Intense/frightening moment happens when body attacks him, spewing fluid on him & thus infecting him.
- Another storyline, man is attacked by headless rotting/infected corpse & another corpse grabs for his feet, then he is surprised again by the first one (or maybe it was another headless corpse)
- One storyline, person finds charred corpse in a wheelchair. Also finds a heavily infected person whose midsection has turned into some sort of monster mouth. It requests to be killed. Woman eventually gives it a gun and positions it for it to kill itself. The shot itself is not shown, but we do see the woman's back as she turns to run away and bloody/gooey debris lands on her back and nearby door.
- Toward end of movie, we see a monster part of some sort removed from a character and afterwards something grows beneath the skin. A monster also appears outside the building trying to get in.
- Movie also includes two infected children who try to attack characters. One child is suggested to have a face that turns monster-like with extra tongues or tentacles reaching out (seen from camera behind the child)
