Warning: Spoilers
Following the events of the first episode, Annie Wilkes (Lizzy Caplan), using the name 'Ingalls', finds her way out of a construction site pit which she fell into attempting to dispose of the body of Ace Merrill (Paul Sparks). We find out that Pop Merrill (Tim Robbins) is undergoing chemotherapy, and via flashback, learn how he ingratiated himself with the Somali community years earlier when he helped set up Jerusalem's Lot as a haven for Somali refugees. With his nephew Ace missing, Pop goes on a tear trying to figure out what might have happened to him, and confronts his adopted son Abdi (Barkhad Abdi) after having the man kidnapped by members of the Jerusalem Police Department. Pop suspects that Abdi killed and buried Ace because of the firebombing of the home Abdi shares with his sister Nadia (Yusra Warsama). Meanwhile, Annie's daughter Joy (Elsie Fisher) confronts her mother about her sketchy past and why they always have to be on the run from town to town. Because Annie is prone to hallucinations and visions, it's unclear whether the man she sees standing behind her car as the episode concludes is real or not. Could it be the ghost of a man she murdered? Better stay tuned...

Warning: Spoilers
A little bit better than the first episode of the season but this is still not up to par with the rest of the elite dramas on TV. The setting just isn't working and none of these characters jump off the screen as original or dynamic.
