Warning: Spoilers
Solid episode as always, but wasn't as good as previous ones. The storyline with Sousa and Daisy getting kidnapped by Nathaniel was kinda weak because Quake is just a little injured and Nathaniel just died I guess? It was convenient that only one guy came to get Sousa and we didn't see what happened to other "suit" guys, I guess Nathaniel killed them then. But I think it was the weakest plotline in this episode. Seeing Mack's parents revealed to be Chronicoms was heartbreaking. And the ending was really unexpected, I'm really looking forward to see where they're gonna go from here.

And to address that other reviewers "review"; the whole point that Coulson was making was that humans have emotions and care for each others and the little time they have, and you're telling me that Mack reaction to just founding out the two people he thought were his parents are actually Chronicoms and they're dead was dumb and he let his emotions get in the way? They are his PARENTS! What don't you understand of that? You find that behavior annoying? Well that's called being a human honey, sorry that a person that just killed his parents clones and found out they're dead is acting like this!

Mack was the Trout in the Milk!

Warning: Spoilers
I'll start by saying that I have truly loved Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and have rewatched the entire series. Season 7, as a whole, is one of my favorites, (wish it had been a longer season) however, I take issue with the fact that in episode 705, Daisy and Sousa's coms go down and they suddenly go missing, yet no one goes in search of them. Why?! That's very out of character for the team and the show.

Fast forward to episode 706 and we see that Nathaniel is Whitehall's rich little lap dog doing a lab experiment on Daisy. "I'm rich ... that cuts down some barriers." What a disgusting, spoiled rotten, little rich brat thing to say?!

Thank God for Hop-Along Sousa! Had he not gone with Daisy on her part of the mission she would have been chopped up and left for dead like Jiaying. Who knew the one legged man out of time would be the one to save our favorite agent?! And while we saw Sousa hobbling out of the wreckage with an unconscious Daisy in tow, it would have been nice to see how he got past the Malick Mob... because you know damn well that there had to be one. We also know, because Daisy tells us in a later episode, that Malick's science experiment nearly killed her, it would have been nice to see/hear Sousa filling in the blanks for the team. It would have also been nice to see/hear Simmons initial opinion/explanation to the team about Daisy's condition.

As for those saying that Daisy was just a little injured or questioning why she couldn't quake ... she took a pretty powerful shot to the side, where Sousa took a shot to the shoulder. Her body and internal organs would have absorbed more of the drug they were both shot with and therefore would have affected her ability to not only come back to consciousness but also her ability quake... the drug would have worked much like the inhibitors placed on her arms at the end of season 2.

I found Mack, one of my favorite characters, to have been extremely selfish, and quite frankly, whiney in this episode. He preached to the team about never leaving another team member behind, always doing what's right ("make ripples not waves") and not letting emotions take over... yet he did exactly that after saying that he couldn't be without his strongest fighter. He allowed his emotions to cloud his judgment and instead of looking for Daisy, like he should have done, he went on a mission to save his parents... who, as it turns out, were actually chronicoms. Queue the words smallest violins.

All of the filler hoopla with Simmons, Enoch and Deke was just that... fillers and hoopla. I realize what they were doing was supposed to be important but it came across as boring and unnecessary. And don't get me started on Coulson and May. I do not like May in Season 7... we needed the bold, fearless May from earlier seasons.

Toward the end of the episode, we finally hear Coulson ask Sybil about Daisy. Finally! Poor Daisy... it was like everyone forgot that she was missing... glad to see she finally made it back to the zephyr before it jumped!

1. Coulson was the true hero 2. There are a deja vo with Quake.. 3. Mac is a losser!!!

Anyway the chapter was very well, and the time jumping is hilarious , the Croni whatever name, are stupid, don't have the evil for example from Hive or even Lord Farquaad... Ahhh, i don't understand the role from Sousa....

Stressful and heartbreaking
noorea-851472 July 2020
I'm just done watching it and I'm still emotional, this episode once again changed gears and left the fun time adventures for some really heartbreaking moments featuring an awesome performance by Henry Simmons. There are quite few emotional revelations and moments in this episode, especially for someone like me who is far too invested in these characters!

Great episode!

I thought this episode was great! I'm so glad Susa is a part of the show. I loved him in Agent Carter and was so disappointed when it was cancelled after only two seasons.

Episode 706

Warning: Spoilers
We're starting to see some somewhat decent episodes of Agents of SHIELD this season which I definitely appreciate, but the program still has a long, long way to go before we get back to the good point that it found itself in in the first few seasons.

But fighting robots, robots that had taken your parents body is at least a little bit entertaining as is Daisy finally in some trouble.

Clark Gregg and Tamara Taylor had a good, albeit brief, scene together. The Sibyl character has been well-written so far and I love the eery old-school sci-fi vibe to her. Maybe there is hope for Season 7 after all.

azcdk3 July 2020
So I sat down to watch, Battlestar Galactica, erm I mean Dollhouse, oops I meant Continuum...darn...okay...Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. whew, I get all those shows confused. Anyway, some good acting from Enver (Sousa)...not the worst ep. Not giving spoilers...just saying, not the worst episode this season, but not up to par with the earlier seasons.

Back to the old unpofessional behaviour
SallyWilliams3 July 2020
This season has been quite strong so far. But I simply can't stand it when so-called professional agents, especially the director, let their emotions get in the way. It happened before in the series, and regarding the stakes it's not tolerable. I know that they are writing this to add emotional depth to the characters, but I find this behaviour really annoying. Let's hope the rest of the season doesn't repeat this again.
