This episode is a gap episode from now to April and it's actually good but it was slightly rushed but I liked the story at least they answered a longing question from season 1

Warning: Spoilers
When I heard the great news that there would be a Christmas special for Chilling Adventures I was excited.
This was kind of flat though. It didn't feel like a special, it came off as just another episode of the show. That's not what these specials should be.

When was it when they established Limbo is where unbaptised normies go? 2 episodes ago? Now that is thrown in the fire, the lore is retconned, and in a major way again: now Limbo is for those who have unfinished business.
Not as bad a retcon as what it means signing the Book, but still very damaging, especialy as it happens in combo.
In addition, character motivations and backstories are flingy like in Riverdale- nothing means anything anymore, the show collapses at lightspeed.
Also: did you notice the antagonists no longer hane any agenda?
And as the meaning of signing the Book changed, and it is not clarified what into, that event actualy lost all meaning too!
I also fond of episodes where we learn exactly nothing. Aren't you?
I also "love" some blatant christian propaganda, which this episode turns into.
