I read the reviews and always admire all the critiques who have never acted in their lives tell others how bad the acting was. just enjoy the show and if you are not interested, watch something else at your level of intellectual aptitudes. but please spare us your inept critiques.

Resolution!

Warning: Spoilers
I suck at reviews, so I'm just going to write my random thoughts as I watch the episode. Probably not worth reading.

  • Go Cooper! Anybody would be lucky to have you on their side. This is why you are one of my favorite characters!
  • I understand dramatic effect but really? Waiting until the very last second? Plus, the fact he's even in that position seemingly hours after the verdict was read is a bit ridiculous. It's usually years before execution.
  • This advisor lady. You should give her a spin-off and send Elizabeth with her. It will be the least watched television program in the history of television. They're swell. If I could just kill anyone who annoyed me too, I'd start with them.
  • Sure, Liz. Act like you're so happy to see him while hiding the fact you're the reason he's even in trouble. Because you're nosy and think you're entitled to know everything about everyone. I still can't even figure out if you think Red is your father or not.
  • Ugh. Why do I keep getting the feeling they're going to ship Ressler and Elizabeth? For the love of god, I hope I'm wrong.
  • Dembe. That was awesome and hilarious. He has a sense of humor hidden underneath his stoic exterior! And he's so polite! Already loved him, this just confirmed it.
  • A whole lot of people storm a building and of course the one who is currently physically and mentally impaired and cannot focus on something six inches in front of her face is the one to find the suspect and hostage. I can't believe he got away. I am so very shocked.
  • Yes! And now the woman with brain damage and memory issues is the only person alive with the password! How can this go wrong? Hopefully she immediately pulls out her phone and writes it down.
  • A dossier detailing a plan to attack a country. Someone actually wrote out their entire plan? And kept the file? That was safe. Also, this man is like 130 years old. How does he keep getting away? Pretty sure Dembe could have broken his hip just by looking meanly at him and they just let him walk. Sorry, Moreau annoys me. Everything from his face to his voice. I automatically want to punch him in his face.
  • From the hair to the accent to the clothes to the facial expressions, I think this sniper guy learned how to be a bad guy by watching a lot of TV.
  • Aww, I really like Samar. It is looking like she might not be part of the show much longer.
  • Fabulous. This lady is going to be on more episodes as their direct supervisor. Cooper's line about the task force having an extremely high mortality rate is quite possibly the best line of the entire season.
  • Uh...that's it? An entire two seasons of Elizabeth being up Red's ass to find out his secrets and now she says she's done? Without paying any consequences for her actions? That better not be the end. She screwed entirely too much up and crossed too many lines for it to end with one line.
  • I have to assume Samar is going to come back at some point or she will continue to be a regular on the show because otherwise that was the worst goodbye to a character I have ever watched.

Finally, it's done. Reddington is free like he should be, Elizabeth has supposedly finally stopped being nosy, and we can get back to the normal Blacklist for a bit. This has been one of my favorite seasons so far, and it's not over. I honestly don't know if it's because it's actually a great season or because season 5 was a travesty. Looking forward to watching the new dynamics!

Nearly gave up

Last season was so rough, I nearly called it quits on this show. Not sure what changed, but MUCH better. I feel like we're back to the storyline. So much better. I'm excited to watch it each week again.

Superb Espionage/Great Villains

First of all, what is with Samar. I know she is a cold fish who keeps deep in herself. But the fact is she is suffering from a traumatic incident. First of all, her body hasn't had time to heal. Secondly, she hasn't sought out anyone to look into her condition. Like so many people today, she relies on the internet for diagnoses. And thirdly, she withholds things from people who care about her. That said, I think there's a great story going forward, involving that redhead, the President, other insiders, and the Germans. We also have the threat to Reddington's immunity and the woman overseeing the task force. I'm surprised so many reviewers are still caught up on their dislike for Elizabeth. She and her thing are pretty much subdued now. This show has always been about the cases. Red is out their peeling away the layers of the big onion.

Cabbage soup and Dressed Herring -GODDAMN
ferren-8775423 March 2019
Thank you for big grande huge gigantic magnificent spoiler arseh*le..

"Cabbage soup and Dressed Herring (Toppings on top of herring) is cuisine associated with the countries of the former Soviet Union."

Thank you very much..

so what we got here? Reddington imposter telling a story about "her" past when she is a child?

Eating Sovyet Union cuisine as a child? Moreover She is not pretending to love Keen so much as Reddington imposter, because Reddington, in fact is her MOTHER for Herring sake!!!

Transgender ensues, everything spoiled by Cabbage Soup.

Still, this shows always interesting because of Spader.

I love Blacklist but...

Warning: Spoilers
... for all the suspension of disbelief required to enjoy it, have the workers forgotten about Liz's daughter?? Liz gave her to Tom's mother to look after, while she went to find out about Tom's death, Red's secrets, the bag, etc. And we never heard of her again!

If they decided they didn't need her character any more, at the very least they could have sent her to some boarding school or something! Liz never mentions her, it's as if the girl never existed. Do they think the audience has such a short memory?

It's these details and omissions that make the series annoying; crazy plot lines are ok, but please pay some attention to detail and keep it clever!

Reddington and everyone else is great but Liz has destroyed this show for me. I can't stand her and was surprised Dembe lied to Reddington Why do writers always screw up good shows. Liz is disgusting. Thanks a Lot

Everything is mediocre. The acting, the plot. And is getting worst. I saw all the episodes so far but honestly I lost my time with it. How can someone rate this series with 8!!?? Come on....

I'd give up but.....
max-5495915 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I keep hoping Liz will die so the show will go back to what it was the first 3 or maybe 4 seasons. Her whining and crying and pretending to care about Reddington's execution when she only wants to keep him alive so she can continue to spy on him and question him. And, of course, she's the only reason he's in this death row situation anyway, which makes her probably the biggest hypocrite on TV in the guise of a "nice" person.

And Dembe. How can you comfort and care for her when she is the one who is put your good friend Reddington in this terrible situation? I am SO disappointed in his character. He is lying to Reddington and is disloyal in the end. As much as I love him, I am so disappointed that he has such a huge character flaw.

So I keep watching with the hope that she will meet her demise and I can love the series again.
