The school campaign was a good classic sitcom plot, but certainly could have been executed better.

The binge watching story was surely more modern, but also, could have been written for more laughs.

Overall, a kind of amusing, but mediocre Single Parents.

Focusing on the kids and an election is a time-honored sitcom tradition, but it still works when done properly and Douglas cheating to help someone win is funny any way you slice it.

A solid episode, but I worry this show has not done enough to convince ABC to order a second season.
