A befitting season finale for B99
serdeatalay17 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
When you look at all the best season finales (and perhaps episodes, remember The Box) of B99, they are always the ones where superb police work is combined with the wonderful inside jokes and humour of the squad. This episode is a perfect example of it and as such, it was one of the best season finales so far. I enjoyed it so much, especially the very last scene. It was a perfect wit. True 99 fans will love this episode which includes very familiar faces from the past who are genuinely funny and references to some old moments & rivalries.

Also, I know from the social media that people were expecting some big Jake and Amy moment of sorts, but I gotta say that I love how maturely the writers handle their relationship. This is a police comedy which has a lot more to offer than the cute moments of that duo. I love their relationship too and it is definitely an indispensible part of the show, and the writers embed it in the show very well when necessary. There was no room for that kind of storyline in this episode and I appreciated that they did not try to squeeze it in. I am sure we'll see something big (yeah, I'm talking about pregnancy) happening to them next season. Thank god there is a next season!

Solid episode

Warning: Spoilers
A solid finale, some great characters return and overall it was very entertaining, however, my only concern is that the anticipated cliffhanger was very similar to the season 2 cliffhanger, which has me worried this show is running out of ideas, knowing that this show is coming back for a 7th season I'd be happy for it to be its last while it still feels fresh, and usually the finale season for sitcoms is when the show is at its best

Suicide squad/season 6 review
cartsghammond17 May 2019
As season 6 comes to a close I found myself satisfied with how it went. Strong writing, some very good guest directing and as always, great characters. Without giving it away, suicide squad feels like a memorable episode, it was hilarious and just well done. I don't like saying that my favorite characters are the lead but Andy Samberg as Jake is the best part about this episode, and basically the whole show. I had a small fear that season 6 would be a strange season that had weird differences that didn't work after the network change (like community and arrested development) but I found it to be classic, hilarious and amazing. Thanks to the cast and crew. Can't wait for season 7!

A very funny and classic episode for the show

I honestly haven't seen wait people see and have rather enjoyed this season of Brooklyn Nine Nine and this episode was just hilarious from start to finish. Holt and Wrunch at it again with their jabs whilst Jake tries to keep to the plan and then another clever twist at the end. I cannot wait for s7

Suicide Squad

Warning: Spoilers
Ken Marino returning to the show was good, but the rest of the guest stars, Kyra Sedgwick and Dean Winters, I could have done without. They made it feel special for a season finale, but the episode itself was a little underwhelming.

The first NBC season of this show has been surprisingly decent, but this was a little below average in quality.

Nothing memorable about this episode
interestingstuff26 February 2022
Sometimes this show tries too hard to be memorable and just turns out plain boring.

"Look a plot twist. Another plot twist! Another one! Another one! Here is another one! Everybody gets a plot twist!"

The whole episode felt too forced, confused and without direction just for the sake of cramming in as many plot twists as possible within a 20 minute window.

And of course this episode gets rated ridiculously high here because people think the more plot twists an episode contains, the better an episode is. If this episode had a few more plot twists, it would have been rated 11/10.
