A quite good, incredibly predicable, episode.
thecheeseburgergod30 April 2019
This is yet another quite good b99 episode. The ensemble cast works well together, and having Sculley and Hitchcock getting garlic bread instead of finding a hacker represents their characters perfectly. Everything about this is quite good, except for one glaring issue that stops me from giving it anything higher than above average. Although some of the jokes aren't great, it's comedy is also quite good.

The person who the hacker is, is so obvious it irritated me so much throughout the episode that a room full of detectives didn't notice it until the end! This was to the point where it was almost the only thing I could think about while watching. The episode is incredibly predictable. The ending also doesn't feel earned, more incredibly lucky, although that doesn't matter much, seeing as it's a comedy show.

Other than that, not a bad episode!

Great episode,

But Christ, Rosa deserves a much nicer and less whiny girlfriend. Just found that side story incredibly annoying. I would have given it 9/10 otherwise.

Edit... Just to clarify, it was the whole turning up at a persons place of work and demanding they drop everything during a crisis just because you're a precious little snowflake.

Very good episode

Brooklyn nine nine is back with another great episode, now I can officially say, Season 6 is probably one of the strongest seasons yet. The best In this episode probably being Andy Samberg. Without giving it away, I will say that I guessed what was going to happen about a quarter of the way through, but still funny.

Lots of fun but (like everyone says) predictable

Warning: Spoilers
The real time set up was great and the scenes with Scully and Hitchcock were hilarious but it's so easy to figure out who the hacker is. Also, the ending made absolutely no sense. One person holding another at gun point in a room of at least 20 other cops who probably all have guns on them. And yet they all put their guns on the ground??? What?????? I mean I'm not a cop but come on.

Warning: Spoilers
It is nice to see samwise as a computer nerd. Although it is strange he could get so far in a Police station.. you could argue he hacked in the server and created the person knox.... but they didnt tell that... also it appears amy is the only one who reconized him,

Ruined Rosa's character
dresmiles24 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Why is Rosa so annoying and unfunny since revealing she is bi? I'm not a homophobe. I like theRaymond, Kevin dynamic and they are funny. But man, It seems like every episode since she came out there is a storyline about it and it's like an after school special and preachy. Whatever have a bi character but to completely change a funny and enjoyable character like Rosa .

Hard to watch as a computer scientist but good.
robinmithoff22 January 2021
It was a good episode but, as already mentioned here, a bit predictable. It was still entertaining. If you are a computer scientist or know a bit about computer networks it gets incredibly cringy at some times.

Who are you and what have you done with Rosa Diaz?
benhalos3 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Overall it's not a bad episode, all things considered I would probably give the plot with Sean Astin a 7-8/10 and having the "Ticking Clock" also apply to Scully and Hitchcock's lasagna was entertaining in my opinion. The problem I had with this episode was the assassination of Rosa's character. I understand that she started out as the character in the show who never showed any emotion or expressed her feelings. It's been good to see her character develop into someone who finally is comfortable with that over the years. The issue is that they made it clear how serious the situation is with lives being on the line and her putting that aside to try to work out her relationship problems was beyond stupid, selfish, and irresponsible. It was beyond immature for her just to leave in the middle of the situation and it is something that Rosa Diaz, the character we have gotten to know over the course of 5 1/2 seasons, would absolutely never do.

A funny episode that featured a race against the clock premise within.

Good Jake, Holt and Amy performances here. Definitely one to watch.

Hmmm, it's okay, I guess, but come on, there's something missing in Brooklyn nine-nine after Gina gone there's lack of fun scenes.

Absolutely terrible writing and simple "jokes"
kazmax2121 July 2020
This has to be the worst episode so far. It's like the jokes went so shallow they surfaced. The stumbling and running around like a bad oldschool comedy was terrible. The acting was not great, even the usually awesome actors couldn't save this one. To be honest it felt like the writers forgot to write this episode and realized it 5 minutes before the season 6 submission deadline. I hope it gets better.
