#whocares

Warning: Spoilers
For a show that was about politics, they did manage to be very "politics-free" for most of their run. A few shots here and there, but it did not get preachy with their views.

This got preachy and it distracted from the story. If they kept their bias out the episode would have been much better.

They Are Issues

Apparently, the only people who are writing reviews are from the right. They don't talk about the realities of what is presented, the pain inflicted. Anyway, since that is a pathetic tactic that ignores the cinematic and directorial aspects of this show and the continuing suspense, I am praising the work. Why do you continue to watch this show. Most of the commentaries have little or no substance. This episode has several characters dealing with dramatic problems. A little boy becomes a pawn. Opiates are abundant. Transgender people are attacked and discriminated against. These are topical issues that should be discussed.

Silly writing

Warning: Spoilers
The writing is just silly. If you can get past that, you feel the undertones of the very liberal side. This season has been a huge disappointment.

Show has changed from a GREAT story line with political twists to simply a show about current specific political messages.

What was once an enjoyable and exciting series of the trials of President K has devolved into a not-so-subtle "preaching" about current hot-button topics. If I want politics I watch CNN or the like. Now when I want entertainment I'm bashed over the head with current political issues and positions.

Show not the same
chipchase-5099819 June 2019
When on broadcast TV, show was smart and the key character was decent and non-political. I also liked to think that our national leaders were smarter than me with a more expansive vocabulary. Not the case if this new iteration of the show is at all accurate. Further, the writers of this version of the show utilize it as a canvas to further every personal and liberal agenda. It ain't the same.

Nope

At the insistence of the CDC Atlanta as "A Matter of National Security" the Director of the CDC with the backing of USAMRIID would have insisted that Dr. Eli Mays be "employed" by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Ms. Hannah Wells be "Temporarily" be Reinstated as F.B.I., this would have gone all the way up to the U.S. President to decide as "Commander In Chief" of U.S. Defense (this way the blame is on the U.S. President and not the Directors of the CDC, FBI, etc. as how things are really done.).

Doing this is how they (FBI, CIA, CDC, USAMRIID, etc.) would be able to keep an eye (under surveillance) both Dr. Eli Mays and Ms. Hannah Wells.
