I really liked the first episode, but this is leagues ahead

I can't belive I've never heard of this show before. This episode is everything I want in "kids show" and anyone at any age can enjoy it. From the mature themes to gorgeous graphics, this was such a wholesome, heartwarming experience. But more than that, it's surprisingly thought provoking. Like when Hildas mum says "they don't realise what they've done" as her foot goes through an elf house. That's top tier powerful stuff right there.

This series took me absolutely by surprise and has surpassed all my expectations.

I have had Hilda recommended by some people I know, and it is a unique, entertaining experience! This episode is very good, and it starts another plotline. You are expecting the plot from the first episode to continue, and it does, but the first 10 minutes are more about a giant. I like the ending, as I said, a lot of the episode is about the giant, and the part at the ending where the giant steps on their house and doesn't even notice, with Hilda then realizing that her mom is stepping on an even smaller house is a great moment, and of the episodes I have seen so far, that is my favorite moment. This episode is once again beautifully animated, and the animation style is relaxing, the simple designs with the beautiful backgrounds look nice, and I am glad this show gets a satisfying conclusion. (Although I haven't seen it yet) 8.6/10.

For sure better than the first episode, and the animation is absolutely beautiful. If this episode doesn't get you interested at all, I'll be surprised.

This is a very imaginative cartoon show. Hilda and her mum get another fire wood delivery from the woodman. Mum is still uncomfortable that he always barges into their home without being invited. Hilda decides to get involved on behalf of her mum and while inside his hut she sees that he likes jazz music.
