"A heady mix of crime & thrill, eventually turning dreary!"
ConfusedRoulette16 November 2019
The characters in this film are limited to mainly four people and the story revolves only around them. A young guy, Sathya teams up with Dassanna, a crook to kidnap a young girl Maya & demand for a ransom from her father. What happens when things go wrong and Maya comes to know about Sathya being one of the kidnappers? The plot unfurls in a tricky manner.

The film is realistic and has the qualities of a neo noir film with some dark humour sprinkled across it. Beginning on quite an interesting note building up some curiosity, without revealing much to the viewer, it later divulges some important details just 10 minutes before the interval. The film becomes a bit of repetitive and dreary in the second half with some unwanted song sequences and slow screenplay.

All the actors have given strong performances. Prabhu Mundkur impresses as an innocent and confused guy. "Tagaru putti" Manvitha Harish doles out an intense performance. Ugramm Manju is at his best in an impactful role. Kaddipudi Chandru also has acted well, with his funny dialogues. The cinematography & music is top-notch and this is where the film stands out. The camera work is excellent, although the unstable scenes can sometimes be an irritant.

Overall, this film has an almost rightful mix of crime & thrill and is an impressive attempt, but eventually turns out to be little disappointing. Thiller movie fans can give this a try though.
