The actor's performances are plain bad sometimes becoming totally pathetic. But what really bothers me is how this kind of movies perpetuate the idea that a bad marriage and a happy ending are worth every single mistake a couple makes in a totally ruined relationship. The movie shows the eternal manipulation of "girl wants to marry, boy not so much", "girl gets pregnant, boy wants to run away" everything goes awry, boy cheats, girl cheats, boy asks for forgiveness and all of the sudden everybody is happy because boy and girl are finally married. Total waste of time.

Sad to see the male gaze portrayed like this once again... Do better.
The wedding planner telling the bride to eat and then barf was sad and problematic. Can't they come up with new jokes? I feel like I've heard the same jokes over and over and they aren't even good. Find a new way to make comedy without making a joke out of every minority or out of people's insecurities. Come on guys, be smart. At first I thought it was an older movie (which still doesn't make it any better) but those jokes were problematic then, and now, they're just sad. I feel pitty and shame for that whole production team.
We've all seen that Mexico can do better. Stop wasting money and time on sad attempts of entertainment that only add to the narrative that men and women only behave in a certain way.
