Well done: as subtle as it is moving
stevergy200021 August 2021
This short film purportedly presents an LGBTQ relationship from a previous historical era set against the backdrop of the present day, during which such situations have, in the words of the director, become more 'mainstream'.

Without this intiial explanatory commentary, I would have missed the point entirely. What was presented was a semi-charming encounter between a young musician and an older lady who is selling a car which definitely has seen better days. It in the reminiscence over these bygone times that the subtle hint of a lesbian relationship is presented, but it is much more of a heartfelt longing for past good times than for any overt social agenda.

Sad, but quite moving and very, very well done.
