Edge of your seat adrenaline
This episode is like many other Homeland episodes that have in the past left me feeling breathless. Intense, action packed. You know it won't end well, but you somehow how hope for a surprise.

I will be sad to watch this exceptional series come to an end, but I hope the ending will be good to us, loyal fans.

Super episode. This season needed this kind of push badly. Well written, amazingly directed.

Perfecto.

Devastating

Greetings from Lithuania.

The end of this great and very involving episode i felt devastated - there is not order word to describe it. Another superb episode in a great / amazing final season of "Homeland". I was on the edge of my seat during this episode. I have no doubt that last three episodes will be great - i'm dying to see how it all turn out at end. As a long time fan of the series, which is my favorite of all time along with "Breaking Bad", i'm so proud that "Homeland's" last season is one of its very best. "Homeland" is exceptional.

Love, Hate, Love

Warning: Spoilers
Although when telling people about this show who haven't seen it, 'YOU MUST WATCH' is what I always say. But I find when I count how many times it aggravates me during an episode, that there is a discrepancy. For me it's a Love, Hate, Love relationship. When it's good, it's great, but when it isn't, it can be infuriating. This is the third episode in a row where either Carrie or Saul looses the ability to explain, debate, or get the upper hand during a disagreement with someone. They can be way ahead of peoples thought processes one minute, and then tongue tied school kids in the next. Never saying the ONE thing that could help them get through to who is questioning them. So this episode boils down to stopping a nuclear confrontation. But Carrie doesn't want to hurt Saul's feelings? Are you kidding me? Feelings? How bout Carrie calls Saul and says, ' yo dude, to stop a nuclear war, the Russians need your mole'. Done. Period. Episode over. Good guys win. But nope. Feelings get in the way..................Smh Right?

This episode could have been the last

Me and my hubby thought this was the end of Homeland. Like with Hannibal Lector and agent Starling. We Even checked that there is more to come.

Do not want the show to come to an end

This ending of this episode reminded me of the second to last episode of Sleeper Cell very similar in the way it was done.

Another very very good episode. I've always thought that this show, along with The Americans, was one of the masters of tension, and this episode was yet another piece of evidence of that. The closing part of the episode was heart-racing, and I just admire the way the writers are able to link together so many plot threads, and have been doing so for years. On the surface, Homeland plots are always quite simple, yet they're always intricately planned. The final shot of Carrie was telling. This is a woman, for all the good she's tried to do, whose actions have gotten dozens of people killed. Not always directly, like here, but her arrest of that spec ops team ended up getting them blown up. The driver's story was tragic, and another thing I admire about the show is its human, individualistic approach to what are large scale conflicts between countries. The writing does a superb job of inspecting the actions of what seem like entire states, when actually they are those of relatively just a few people. Now that Carrie's arrested, I'm not sure what lies ahead for her, whether she'll betray Saul or not. I was thankful for Saul's own position on never betraying Carrie. We'll have to see whether Carrie waves the same flag, but I'm sure the conclusion won't disappoint us

Designated Driver

Warning: Spoilers
Well, that was certainly an uplifting message to have on Easter.

An exciting, albeit heartbreaking, end to the episode. The show has gotten better as the season progressed, making me eat my words a bit, but having it come down to Russia against the US just feels unnecessarily political.

Utterly implausible
johnfpfallon27 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Who wrote this? Why has believability or rationality been dispensed with, in the creation of this propaganda? I am aware that this is fiction; and written for specific audiences in a style designed to entice and retain the viewer? If potential reality is dispensed with, this type of fiction is not (usually) not worth the effort.

Utterly ludicrous! For example: The notion that in the days after a crucial incident, an Afghan with a truck the size of a small house, loaded arms in the glove box and an American fugitive in the back behind a curtain, could drive unimpeded onto a guarded Air Force base is just derisory.

This is just one example of how plausible reality has been utterly forgotten by the writers.

I do not know or understand why.

Getting slow and boring now
confidential-6789712 April 2020
This last season stay off ok, but honestly the last few episodes are really starting to drag. It's like they ran out of story 1/2 way through, and decided to make about 4 episodes of carry just playing a game of find and seek.
