We're building up here to the climax of the anti-Pride story that has been simmering for more than one series. I hope they make the most of it! The effect of pulling the team tighter to protect Pride is good for the long term future. The tension is good, and we'll have to see how it pans out over the next few episodes. For me, any episode is brightened if it involves Rita Devereaux. Chelsea Field has such a beautiful smile! And she and Scott Bakula work together (unsurprisingly!) so well.

NCIS: New Orleans may not be a great week to week show, but they always wrap the season up in exciting fashion. This year we have a final arc involving a scheme to take Pride down.
Not the most coherent story, but had that big budget popcorn flick feel behind it.
Enjoyable, and curious to see how it ends.

Enough already with the persecution story

The writers seem to have found a subject that amuses them but let's be honest, the "someone's out to get Pride" theme had the spots worn off of it a long time ago. It's getting boring and repetitive and they need to come up with something new or there's likely to be one less version of NCIS on television soon.
It's deja vu all over again

Warning: Spoilers
Didn't that same whoever-she-is show up at the end of last year's season to pull the rug out from under Pride's investigation, threaten to break up his team, yadda yadda?
And the smarmy lawyer arriving with a phalanx of attorneys to spring the main suspect is a tired cliché.
Didn't we end this way last year?
