This episode is too Law and Order. It's like the episode where the piano teacher molests the students.

Interesting Series - a great compilation of Short Stories

In response to a few Reviews thinking there wasn't enough mention of the Romanov's - it was there in every story line, subtle and didn't hit one over the head. There is a tremendous amount of MYTH associated with the Romanov Family and inference to that fact was in each and every Episode.
Its pretty hard to miss the great Acting and well written dialogue that pervaded throughout this entire Series.
Thought provoking in a few Episodes, therefore, making it refreshing to watch a Series that feels it doesn't have to "spell it out" to the Viewer, "Dummy it down" so to speak.
I enjoyed how the Story Lines all differed, so there's something of interest for everyone to discover.

Warning: Spoilers
At time of writing there is only one review for this episode dismissing it as a waste of time. However, I found it to be one of the strongest in the season so far.
With little evidence the audience and the characters jump to conclusions following a clumsy, half-hearted police investigation into a well liked, gay, piano teacher.
Ultimately, his crime amounted to purchasing some alcohol for his students but the air of suspicion lingers. It's only when you step back and question your own prejudices that you realise how great the episode is.

So, the main issue was unresolved by the Alan story and no one challenges David over the Walter Mitty aspects of what he told other people about his background by stealing other character's backgrounds.
Also, some of the acting seemed to be done whilst the second actor was off the set; it was stilted and not reactive.
The Romanoff connection hung by a thread...a frayed thread.
