This video talks about the disaster that the rough cut of Star Wars was... no. The problem with this video is it may as well could've been completely comprised of misinformation and out of context quotes. Nerdonymous on YouTube did a great job of explaining this.

A lazy hit-piece meant to deceive fans

Like someone here already pointed out, this video is merely an attempt to lie to mainstream audiences to convince them Lucas was a hack. Even without looking into the sources, anyone with basic media literacy should detect the anti-George Lucas bias in this propaganda. Many films are vastly improved, one might even say "saved" in the edit. But even if there is evidence that the editors had to clean up George's mess, the creator of this video doesn't know about it as every single point made is either factually incorrect or the one greatest exercises in mental-gymnastics you'll ever see. To actually learn about the making of the original Star Wars, try The Making of Star Wars documentary or the book by J. W. Rinzler, or Paul Duncan's Star Wars archives. Shame on Rocketjump "film school" for trying to discredit the man who created the movie series they supposedly "love".
