Six words: the blond mom's wig must go.

The movie was okay, but I was so distracted by that ugly lace front wig homegirl had on. In addition the movie just seemed very boring and all over the place.

Boring Mom's Club

If you want to waste your time watching a group of frenemies with a ring leader in a bad wig, this one is for you. Disappointed. There could have been so much more drama and mayhem but they really dropped the ball here. I'm not a parent, but they nailed the wicked part by upsetting me as the kids were used as tools to get back at one another -very awful. The snide comments amongst the group of women are also tiring. It's to the point where you wonder why they are friends at all? Then realize misery loves company and they feed off being two faced. Mandy just doesn't belong in this circle and basically failed the group's hazing into the sorority. I stuck with the movie through it all because I was so curious why they put Olivia in a wig and was secretly hoping Mandy would yank it off her head.

Mean Moms
phd_travel31 March 2019
Mean competitive backstabbing sabotaging - instead of the high school girls its the moms. Mean mom befriends new mom. But when Mean Mom's daughter is outshone she tries to take down new mom's career, daughter's gymnastics etc. It's moderately watchable. The ending is quite satisfying in the way she was brought down.

The Wig...

...was the best actor in this whole movie. I will never understand why I keep watching these movies but here I am-what does that say about me? I will ponder this as I fall asleep at night.

They couldn't afford a decent wig?
connolley32519 December 2021
The wig on the Momzilla was truly awful and distracting. It was like something you'd buy at the drugstore in a cheap Halloween costume bag. I'm shocked it was allowed whilst filming and no one thought to mention how bad it was. And this was based on a true story? Wow.

Remove this movie
coleman_shawnita1 October 2022
This stuff started out like someone in group was going. To murder someone. Not a typical lifetime movie. Older adults talking about bullying!! No suspense and watched through the whole thing expecting more. Not a good movie, do not waste your time and take this off air. Girl with wig (bad wig) never changed her hair, was expecting growth with that actress or her changing her identity!!! Nothing!!! Please remove this movie. Do not do not watch.

This you would expect from teenagers but not older adults. This is a must not watch. They scenes never added up nor did it make sense.

The set ups we're horrible and even the arrest scene didn't make scenes !! Bad movie review.

And the Oscar goes to...

Warning: Spoilers
The Wig! Come on now Lifetime! Splurge a little when it comes to wardrobe especially when it's a main character. The acting isn't too bad but I've never heard of a high school with competitive gymnastics, although not a bad idea. Watchable but not great. Like the plot tho. Should be called Mean Moms :-)

The Super Duo
lavatch28 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Mandy Wallace and her daughter Riley want a fresh start in life. Mandy has recently divorced her philandering husband, and she takes Riley, a gymnast and former drug user, to a new town. Mandy starts to bond with the other moms who have kids in the school's gymnastic program, and she becomes involved in the school's PTA. But the PTA moms turn out to be a hornets' nets of cutthroats and back-stabbers, led by a nefarious creature named Olivia.

The Lady Olivia has acquired such power that she has been able to control the lives of other women in the community. Even in the home that she purchases, Mandy learns that the former owner, Ginny Renlow, had offed herself in her garage, a tragic victim of the formidable Olivia.

Upon arriving in town and enrolling Riley at Sayre High School, Mandy discovers a copy of Nietzsche's "Beyond Good and Evil" left by the former owner of her home, the late Ginny Renlow. There is a loose photo in the book of members of the local PTA with two x's on Olivia's face. It turns out that Olivia is the grand matriarch and control freak, who bullied Ginny Renfrow all the way into the grave, and she will now try to do the same to Mandy.

Mandy and Riley have a motto that defines their special relationship as "the super duo." The major theme of the film is the mother-daughter bonding of Mandy and Riley that is threatened and tested by the malicious Oilvia.

With help from the local architect, Ellis, Mandy is able discover evidence that points to Olivia's malicious intent in poisoning Mandy's popular blog; getting Mandy fired from her job; getting Mandy arrested for narcotic possession; changing Riley's lab results to get her disqualified from gymnastics and expelled from school; and embezzling over $100,000 from the country club. In a showdown that is the grand finale of the film, the tables are turned on Olivia, who is exposed as a fraud and a criminal.

Inspired by true events, "Wicked Mom's Club" takes a strong stand against bullying and supports the empowerment of the victims. All caring parents should be on the lookout in the local PTAs for the Olivias of the world!
