When some young men go into a costume shop, looking for something to scare their girlfriends, they get more than they bargained for. These little "Crypt" films are so short and have trouble delivering much. Of course, we know those guys are going to pay a price for their rudeness and bravado.

One Halloween three rather rude teen guys look around a Halloween store and, unimpressed with the regular scary stuff on display, they heckle a shifty mask moulder who works in a more spooky and secluded part of the store and then sneak into his private workshop while his back is turned, where they find and decide to try on a trio of hideous prototype masks, and then as the things unexpectedly spring to life and painfully constrict themselves around their faces, the mysterious Mask Maker reappears and gleefully reveals his frightening secret, and let's just say that they all get a little more into the spirit of the season than they probably wanted! So yeah this short very strongly brings to mind "The Haunted Mask" by R.L. Stine, except with a more macabre ending, and it's pretty good for what it is, the makeup effects look good enough and it is a creepy idea. I wouldn't have minded a few minutes more to build upon the atmosphere a little but it's cute, short, sweet and to the scary point. Fun Halloweeny short with a cool concept, most definitely worth a look! ðŸŽ

One of films about jokes of teenagers and the punishment more than cruel against their showmanship. precise, terrible, well crafted. an end giving the answer to a not smart desire/joke. enough for a good horror and an useful warning. and, sure, interesting masks.
