Walked into the room when my girlfriend was attempting to watch this garbage. This is the kind of show that makes you feel like population control and eugenics isn't such a bad idea.

The reviews are so terrible, but I love it? Haha it's typical reality show. There are some very unlikable characters, go figure. I live a pretty drama free life, so I really enjoy all of their drama. Lol it's hard to imagine this is actually how these people act, but it's entertaining. Isn't that the point?

You have to be a brain dead moron to watch and support this show. *****Spoiler Alert***** The "star" of the show abuses animals on his free time, including shooting and endangered hammer head shark 6 times, shooting arrows at cats, pouring beer in other endangered fishes gills and lets not forget how racist he is towards people of color. to quote Alex Kompo "Once you go black you're never welcome back". He also records his very young autistic brother "soaking them hoes" with beer. What a roll model!!!! If it wasn't for his rich daddy 1-800AskGary this troll wouldn't have his own show. Stop supporting animal abuse and racism boycott Siesta Key MTV!!!!!

Ok, this is not a piece of life changing, metomophosing screen adaptaion of a literary great. It may not even be adequate screen writing. Come on, did you really think their words were their own? What it is, is deliciously cheesy escapism at it's best. Not for the faint hearted or those without to ability to roll their eyes and laugh at themselves for loving unabashed total trashy tv. I am guilty and proud of it. I may even have come to care for these poor, vacuous, lost souls. I'll never tell 🙄😉

The entire premise of the show centers around Alex. Alex lives a playboy life of luxury, is the center of the show, and invites others along for the ride. Alex is also dumb, mean, and the show creator's son. Yet despite being an unlikable character, the entire show is about people's connection to Alex and trying to make him look good. But the entire cast is generally unlikable except for 1 or 2 people, who in some way are screwed over by the other unlikable cast members.
its hard to watch because its essentially all about people cozying up to a dumb, mean, rich, young trust fund baby regardless of how he intentionally hurts those around him. It even started a 2nd French Revolution in my living room.

Wait this is a real show? I though this was like one of those joke shows that only ever has previews or commercials. A troll show like something Adult Swim would do.
MTV has recently branded itself as a "stoner friendly channel" so I thought they were just trolling all of us stoners.
The fact that a show like this even exists is the reason humanity is dying. Self absorbed, bratty, entitled children whose biggest problem in life is that someone didnt like their S/O or didnt like their decision, when more than likely the S/O or decision had no bearing on others. Just bored rich crappy people picking on their supposed friends and family because they're bored and crappy

Typical reality tv - not sure why other bad reviewers are watching as what do you expect? Shocked when I saw the overall rating for this show. It's definitely not that bad haha
Am finding the new season not as great so far as previous ones. Some of the newer characters have definitely been manipulative to make their way onto the show.. but previous seasons I enjoyed. Great for switching off when you feel the need to decompress.
Similar to other reality tv series, but I've definitely seen worse. Had a decent storyline throughout, although some characters seem as though they're really putting it on when cameras are around.

I liked season 1 which i labelled fun in the sun...but now so much crass swearing and stupid really nasty fighting, its lost the one thing it had going for it!!! an **endearing** adherence to a level of innocence and beach side cleanliness, the self awareness of its own tongue in cheek phoney conversations and dramas being played out straight faced, measured, mannered by the actors, and rather hypnotic to watch. Now that aura of deliberate distancing from real life, from the tawdry, has been broken by a crossing of the line to an unfortunate degree of "getting too real"...guys (writers) you cant have it both ways!!! It was a delicate balancing act, a fine line, but now mean and ugly is taking too much of a foothold, taking up too much of the unusual energy flow of this show. And its funny but when that balance is lost THE ACTORS STOP BEING CONVINCING...their conviction in what they re saying gets very shakey and they start to realise we look and sound ugly and dumb. Now it's like i just wanna have a hot shower and wash off the abusive toxic muck that has become Siesta Key. Chloe is now particularly grotesque, like a fat tumour on the back end of a sad postscript. So long SK wasn't nice knowing you at all in the end. you jumped the shark BIG TIME.

First of all, these kids are boring, boring, boring! Second, I've never seen a group of 'friends' treat each other with such a lack of consideration and respect, talk so much s**t about each other, and be just downright nasty to each other. They fight FAR more than they get along. They swap BFs/GFs like there's literally no other humans in Florida and have all slept with each other. Every one of the girls are jealous, insecure little bleach blond brats and every one of the guys are shady tools. This kid Alex that every girl has a thing for is not physically attractive in any way and has zero personality to boot. He talks in this slow monotone voice that could put a rock to sleep, and seems high as a kite all the time. I don't care how much money his parents have, you couldn't pay me to even go on a date with this dude, let alone put up with his BS. If he's the hottest thing in Siesta Key, FL they have some serious slim pickins! The only likeable character IMO is Chloe because she puts all of her whiny, entitled, disrespectful 'friends' right in the place they belong. I'll give this a 3 because I'm still watching it, but only because I have nothing to do half my workday but watch TV and I'm seriously running out of things to watch.

This show is awful. It's probably the worst scripted reality out there. Knowing that you can either watch this out of sheer curiosity. Or go on with your life without it. I personally like the sunny setting (at least when they manage to hide the flaws in the scenery), the soundtrack (again, when I manage to catch the original run version) and some of the dramas that are giving me flashbacks anxiety. But also, reliefs for not being at this stage of my life anymore. And entirely blown out of proportion, and owing it. Unlike other current series, that are supposed to have writers working day and night, to give the best scripts and storylines to the table...

Absolute garbage fire. All of these "friends" screw each other over, stab each other in the backs left and right, gossip about one another, and make the messiness most obnoxious decisions ever. Everybody is super entitled and does not care avout the consequences of each others actions. The women are all over one guy everyone warns about, but they go for it anyways for a cheap thrills and risk everything good for them just for a quick hookup. Most if not all of them are college graduates or heading into college or finding themselves, but not without making sure to leave messes they can't clean up. It's the lack of realism that makes this show unwatchable. Shall I say that every five seconds, there's these random songs and transitions that take away the focus of the show. I mean, this is good for the artists, but there's like 20 songs played throughout one episode. Every character is as cliched as 2009 cringe. You got ten women fighting over one guy when there are other amazing looking guys with good hearts being thrown aside for someone whos voice doesnt match his body. Its so sad lol. The editing is awful. This is NOT reality TV at all. Throw the whole show away!
