Hellraiser (2022)
It was just OK.
Hellraiser films have always left a pit in my stomach at the end, but they were always good. Something that I constantly looked forward to as these films break barriers in the genre. This film did not make me feel that way. It was extremely too tamed, especially when the action happens. Nothing is shown or it is implied. Hellraiser films have always had "In your face" horror with grotesque special effects, and pretty decent stories. Unfortunately, I was disappointed overall in this film. It could have done more. The death scenes were lackluster. The story fell flat. It was pretty unforgettable that once I was done, I just moved on. Somewhat decent to good movies gave me something to talk about. There wasn't anything grand about this new Hellraiser.
Yu yu hakusho (2023)
Five episodes and a crammed story
The fight scenes were awesome and raw, the story was almost spot on until it wasn't. The first three episodes were very good in terms of quality. Five episodes did the show no justice for it suffers from some huge pacing issues. There's a lot going on and very little character development even when told in one hour increments. One key moment they've stripped from the show compared to the anime was the tournament which took over 75% of the first season. This, unfortunately did not happen in the final two episodes. Maybe it's the budget or maybe they were trying to gear viewers in to getting the green light for a new season. This show has tons of potential, but if you're going to introduce something like this to the table, play the right cards and you'll win the hearts of millions despite the changes made. There was no tournament. Kurami and Hiei became comrades with Yusuke way too quickly. Genkai was destroyed within an instant and they didn't show the fight at all. I would've been okay with two or three extra episodes focusing on the tournament and the plethora of villains they faced as well as the bonds they create in the process of achieving their goals. This show plays mostly of their cards right, but failed to play one major card that would've stuck the landing for me in the end of this season. The character designs, outfits, personalities, and even most of the somewhat decent CGI, made the show both watchable and enjoyable, however, the final big bad was taken down too easily by the clumsy Yusuke. If they get renewed, I hope they don't make this mistake again and give us what we deserve in a live action remake of one of the most beloved anime shows in existence.
Castlevania: Nocturne (2023)
Slow burner, but lots of potential
It took a while to get used to the new cast and characters, which aren't bad, but it just felt stuffed with too many characters at once. The show is not bad per se, but the development of each character arc feels a bit off and sometimes forced. That does not go without saying that this show is very entertaining. The action, when it starts, is very good and satisfying.
One thing to consider is that Nocturne is at a very different pace than the original counterpart as it sometimes struggle to find proper footing through each episode. You can somewhat feel the potential there due to a few scenes where you wouldd expect something grand only to kind of reveal an alternative approach. After a few episodes in, it gets good and holds its momentum by the threads. I try my best not to compare it to the original show, but the original show's first season had only four episodes which pushes its viewers right into both backstory of the antagonists, compelling action sequences, and likeable characters early one. This one, however, attempts to do it, but it comes off as a little clumsy with multiple different people with different powers and backgrounds, yet getting a few minutes of screen time, but with not much variety. Even though the approach is very different, you can clearly see and tell theyre much younger than our previous guided cast of adult nomads. I think this is the approach the writers are going for since the finale was extremely impactful and somewhat bleak, yet very little resolution. Things I do hope for include more character development and background for each presented on screen, because some of them are just kind of there and oftentimes are a liability. The story here seems much darker for there is hardly room for triumph and each of the characters have little experience in battle including our beloved Richter. The formula is familiar. Even though they continued the legacy of castlevania without a few key components, it has so much potential to be better. I would suggest not being too critical, for the original show kind of had a similar premise as each season got better. I'm crossing my fingers this one gets the same treatment.
Castlevania: Nocturne: Guilty Men to Be Judged (2023)
This episode picks up and never let's it down
I was very skeptical when the show was released. But so far, it's a perfect blend of what made the original show so good. The show is jam packed with characters and all of them give stellar performances for the most part. Just when I began to kind of feel the show was dragging and finally picking up slightly,
even for a moment, the momentum picks up and gives an excellent climax to what sparks the remainder of the season. Some key characters have great depth compared to their video game counterparts and even some sweet reveals. If you haven't played the games or know anything about the lore, it won't be as impactful. But even to newcomers, the show will not disappoint at all!
Siesta Key (2017)
Garbage Fire
Absolute garbage fire. All of these "friends" screw each other over, stab each other in the backs left and right, gossip about one another, and make the messiness most obnoxious decisions ever. Everybody is super entitled and does not care avout the consequences of each others actions. The women are all over one guy everyone warns about, but they go for it anyways for a cheap thrills and risk everything good for them just for a quick hookup. Most if not all of them are college graduates or heading into college or finding themselves, but not without making sure to leave messes they can't clean up. It's the lack of realism that makes this show unwatchable. Shall I say that every five seconds, there's these random songs and transitions that take away the focus of the show. I mean, this is good for the artists, but there's like 20 songs played throughout one episode. Every character is as cliched as 2009 cringe. You got ten women fighting over one guy when there are other amazing looking guys with good hearts being thrown aside for someone whos voice doesnt match his body. Its so sad lol. The editing is awful. This is NOT reality TV at all. Throw the whole show away!
The Witcher: The Art of the Illusion (2023)
So far, so okay
Season 3 starts off somewhat strong, but slowly drags as it's tying and fleshing out way too many characters with side stories that aren't interesting nor engaging. The biggest pros have to be that Ciri has definitely evolved and her development is strong. Yen and Geralt have great chemistry on screen and the two have still proven to be a delight throughout this season. The quality and locations are gorgeous and almost flawless in delivery. The action is also there and a great time. Jaskier is cute, but his character is just kind of there. All the other characters are just there and serve no real purpose at times. A lot of the story so far seems filler and doesn't really raise the stakes very high as previous seasons nor does it set a higher bar. I think they're trying to cram as much as they can and make up some of the script as they to keep both fans and newcomers to the show. However, it is VERY slow. It is almost too slow to keep viewers interested. All I can say is that Netflix is following this weird pattern in releasing only few episodes first hand then the rest later. It may have worked for Stranger things, but not this. For the sake of this show alone, this does not bode well when not much has happened quite yet. The ending of episode 5 almost seemed random to keep audiences engaged and await the second half. My only concern is if the second half is even worth the wait with the first half being the weaker portion compared to previous seasons. With that being said, I am concerned if the writers are giving Henry as Geralt "the proper sendoff" before passing the baton to poor Liam like they promised or just another kick to the face just to finish the job and never having to look back again. Either or, I'll still watch. I guess maybe time will tell. All in all, this is the weaker season. Hopefully the second half can change my mind.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)
A Huge Quantumanium Mess
I'm not the biggest Ant Man fan and probably never will be, however, I was excited to see the new installment due to the lackluster sequel prior. I gave this film a chance. Marvel has not been releasing the best films lately, but I must say I had a great time watching Quantumanium. It's far from perfect nonetheless. It suffers from pacing issues in the 2 hours and 4minute run. It goes off kind of slow for the first hour and then the last 45 minutes it jumps off the rails. Some of the characters like Michelle Pfieffer and Kat Newtons characters were to be desired. Michelle was instantly badass in some scenes and then reduced to an ant sized supporting character for most of the film. There were also not a ton of jokes for this film is darker in tone, but just like Thor Love and Thunder, when there's a serious situation happening, an unnecessary joke is tossed in there. I also found some of the dialogue to be a bit repetitive. One character would say one thing, another would repeat what they've said as a question, and then its repeated again as an answer. Tons of dialogue fillers. However, despite the flaws, it was fun! I enjoyed it! Paul Rudd and Johnathan Majors delivered stellar performances. The action scenes were very good and well choreographed. Marvel is slowly finding their footing. We can agree to disagree. We're introduced to a villain that is much more of a threat than Thanos could ever be. I just want to see more from him. The Kang in this film was good, more ruthless, but he was pulling his punches in various scenes. The last 30-45 minutes if the movie is where things get really good. Still a mess, but Paul Rudd was no joke handling his own against the almighty Kang himself. Its the grittiness weve gotten from winter soldier and endgame i want to see more of. I want Marvel to stop playing it so safe in these films.
Freeridge (2023)
Still a lot of heart!
The main thing that sucks about spin offs or sequels is that people compare them to the originals. Let's face it, the original On My Block series was and still is one of Netflixs greater shows I would binge on a daily. However, all things must come to an end and something new is presented. And what we have is Freeridge. On My Block was already diabolical yet realistic with very relatable characters and impressive story telling with some A+ acting. Freeridge takes diabolical and amps it up several notches. I'm all for it. As Jamal from On My Block was one of the major highlights from the original that pushed boundaries of realism and fiction in his arc alone. This show takes that and piles on top of it which is executed pretty quickly and in your face. As a fan of the series who is used to the og characters and the show alone, I gave this a chance and opened my mind to appreciate them continuing the universe for this show, Freeridge, is one hell of a funny ride from start to finish. It deserves a chance and a lot more support from fans of the original series. If On My Block is a 9 out of 10, Freeridge is an 8 out of 10, for bringing new and familiar characters, New plot, and extremely funny moments back on the screen.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
Just, NO!
I felt like I was watching a bad 2001 documentary with a crap load of flashbacks of the original three films CONSTANTLY reminding us on how great they were and how bad this one is. Have you noticed that there are plethora of movies with "Resurrection(s) in the title and they flop harder than a fish out of water? Half of the film was filled with flashbacks from the trilogy that recreated the genre with something we've never seen before. The fight scenes are so clunky and all over the place it was hard to comprehend wtf was happening. In the older films, the camera work was focused on the actions because that's what added to the quality. There was a flow and it was darn sure fluid. There were cuts in this film that were so unnecessary it made me so angry. I know the cast (from the original movies) are all older, but come on. It's like they didn't try! There were so many jokes in the most awkward of places as much as there were a ton of unnecessary random characters eith no backstory and little to care for. The film also does a job breaking the fourth wall telling us what we should already know. This movie is forced. Lastly, my GOODNESS the slow motion scenes are bad. It's like they took everything from original films and dialed it back one hundred notches.. like watching the movie in 10 frames per second. The editing felt like a Sci fy original B-movie. It was not entertaining at all. The new ideas are what we've seen before in countless attempts with nothing to bring to the table. Two hours and thirty minutes of just false promises and underwhelmed build ups.
They were going for a story that reexplained the older films. We love matrix so much BECAUSE of the storytelling and the over-the-top slo mo action that set beyond so many boundaries in cinema history. I'm mad that we have Carrie-Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves, such AMAZING LEGENDARY ACTORS, with a great cast withered away by the terrible attempt to finish what had already ended years ago. Matrix Resurrections failed on many attempts to keep that inspired awe feeling we used to get years ago from those old films. The trilogy provided well choreographed sequences that pushed the boundaries beyond pur limitations without over filling our plates. You KNEW when something amazing was coming up next because of the transition and the pacing. Unfortunately, this movie just ... failed.
Halloween Kills (2021)
Better than the previous, not by much
This film was actually pretty scary. You have Michael, presumed dead, starting his typical massacre all over again, but this time he's leaving a HUGE trail of blood. The film is better than the previous, but not by much. The kills were great, some were very unnecessary, but it goes to show the carnage and there are no limits or boundaries set. Jamie Lee Curtis does well in her performance, but her character is wasted here. Everyone else Is on a rampage to end Michael Myers, who is seemed mortal, but something about this film feels they're going to make the same supernatural mistake made in previous sequels. I also questioned some of the characters' choices in STANDING THERE with clear paths to escape Michael's grasps giving in to shock and disbelief and being murdered on/off screen. It's a good rewatchable slasher film that makes you want more, but somehow that urge dies down as it becomes more and more ridiculous and completely over the top. Also, I am about tired of hearing "Evil dies tonight", when nothing is actually being done to stop it.
Candyman (2021)
A Sequel with so much potential
This movie was very hyped for all the right reasons. It's a slasher film, a sequel or reboot you may call it, and Tony Todd reprised his role ... for like a second. I get we are in the age of reboots and sequels decades later, but this just wasn't it. First of all there were more questions than answers. This film is supposed to push the other "alleged" sequels to the side and give us something fresh, something old, something new, and something a bit more gorey, tagging along to the original to finish the job properly. Unfortunately, in every scene involving some poor fool to chant His name in the mirror five times, He appears from the shadows and give them their comeuppance. But ... it falls flat in every direction, only giving us off screen PG-13 kills. The film and story were both ok, but failed to explain the reason our beloved main character was fading into the darkness and dwindled on origin stories so much that the film itself forgot what pace it was going. Candyman Himself, was not even in the film until the last four seconds! I guess to live in his legacy, his stories inspire other "Candymen" to do the bidding, so he lives within those who avenge him? It's like they're lost in the story themselves. Anticipation was pulled and thrown into trash after seeing this. Slasher movie fans will be disappointed as well as casual horror moviegoers will be. I was so disappointed in this film. It wasn't dark and gritty, nor was it gloomy and thrilling, it was just bland. Tony Todd created the legacy of the titular film character and they wasted him with about five other people playing him rather than the actual person who is supposed to. Whatever direction they're going, they can keep it because it just will not work for those who've expected more.
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Fell flat on everything
This was one of the most highly anticipated films of the year, especially after the success of the previous installment. DC had a clear chance to redeem itself. I sat two hours and 45 minutes rounded up to watch a lot of nothing. They got the casting right, cheetah was a great addition to the big screen, and Maxwell Lord was OK. The film lost a lot of its gritty, seriousness portrayed in the first film. There were not enough "Wonder Woman in action" scenes. The villains had mediocre screen time. And my goodness the CGI was awful. The trailer pretty much sums up the film. It winded up being a cheesy blockbuster flick that DC is most notable for in their more recent years with movies, especially with the forced comedic scenes nobody asked for. I get what they were trying to do, but WW84 offers nothing new to the table. It was almost like watching a bunch of marvel films combined together with our villains sharing the exact same motives only to realize that having too much power can be a curse within itself. The beginning scene was campy, the villains really weren't a threat and had less than ten minutes of actual brawl time, and in the end, the film ended like a hallmark moment just without the stamp. I am very disappointed.
Fatal Affair (2020)
Really?
Im a huge fan of Nia Long and Omar Epps. The cast contains a strong ensemble of individuals who really can ACT. I blame the plot, poor character build up, cringe dialogue, and little to no substance whatsoever. This was trash. I cant believe Epps and Long agreed to this contraption of a middle school project.
Slasher (2016)
Each Season gets better
I enjoyed the show for what its worth. Each season gets better than the last with the killer (s) have an internal motive to wipe out as many characters and obstacles in their way. Season 1 was just okay. Season 2 was more grounded, had great character build up, but can very disturbing to most people. And Season 3 was everything that season 1 and 2 missed and got right. It summarizes your need for drama and slasher horror in only 8 episodes of each season. Most of the show gets straight the point within the first few episodes and and has reoccurring characters you either enjoy or hate. If I were to rank each season, season 3 would be the most engaging with the audience as season 1 was my least favorite in the bunch. Its worth a watch if you like slasher horror films without the jumpscares.
Black Lightning (2018)
There's good and there's bad
Face it. Every other DC show on CW is as good as it gets, but Black Lightning is probably low on my list. I only came to the show because of China Anne and Nefessa Williams who, honestly, hold the show well on their own. The good about this show is that it tackles a multitude of real life struggles faced within the black community (like any other shows/movies involving black communities.) However, we've seen that, in about every single portrayal, we've seen it! We've seen the drug dealers, the big baddie who controls the entire city with his boys and calls all the shots. The show DOES it's best to keep you interested even thought it's predictable. The bad is that the show tries way too hard. It bounces around plots and storylines all over the place. There's way TOO much acting to small unimportant events and not enough acting in bigger important events. There are so many unanswered questions and things that happen throughout that are not even explained or even mentioned. The action sequences are also very subpar and underwhelming and are also not a lot of WOW moments, because the same stuff happens in every critical situation. It's clunky, slow, and only lasts like 30 seconds of palm lightning strikes that are barely believable. There are scenes that just don't connect to the show and are unnecessary. And I did mention the acting, but my gosh it is bad. There are parts of many episodes when the obvious is clearly in their grasp and we shake our heads watching as they fall flat with poor dialogue and questions that they already have answers to. The music score number is worst in it's timing, sampling songs from all walks of life (which I'm okay with), but while other shows have amazing orchestrated fanfares, this show is introduced to a choppy rap song that's probably extremely forgettable. Sometimes I often forget this is a superhero TV show, but it acts as it's a soap opera with over the top cliches and stereotypes. As a black man, I'd just like to see a good show without all of the nonsense of teaching lessons about preexisting struggles and recycling other subpar material and cliches in which has been seen again and again. In the end, all we get is a burly looking guy in a ridiculous light up suit from a cosplay who does very little to actually save his community and needs the help of others to point out all the obvious clues around him as he inches his way to the finale. One thing I CAN say is that every other episode is just OKAY, but it's like watching a snail cross a street. You'll be better off watching the Flash (always full of action, although repetitive). They have a different villain almost every episode and some could be your favorites. I give Black Lightning a 5 out 10 strictly because despite the show's obvious flaws and imperfections, there is a marvelous cast of familiar faces you either really like or really hate. Nefessa Williams and China Anne give great performances. Williams pretty much make the show a bit more likeable and more fast paced for viewers who watch the slow burner repeat itself. It's not garbage, but the show acts as a race repellant to a wide variety of viewers who are not in the black societal spectrum.
Joker (2019)
Masterpiece! A Truly Marvelous Masterpiece!
Boy! I tell you, I had very little expectations and I caught myself almost standing up and clapping for such an amazing movie. I'm sure it's the start of a string of movies. It's a fresh introduction for comic book fans and newcomers alike. You're captivated in the eyes and mind of the protagonist who's known to me an iconic antagonist. However, because of his actions and the settling ambience portrayed in this film, you're caught wanting more and actually applauding his motives. It's the perfect psychological drama film that's more than just a origin story, it's a masterpiece! Far beyond my expectations and hopes for such film.
Into the Dark: Pure (2019)
A Film that focuses on multiple viewpoints
Into the Dark has delivered us some pretty good entries and some ok ones, but not so many bad ones. "Pure" installment to the series isn't so much a horror film or a thriller; it's a mystery. It's a slow burner like all of the other entries and provides specific elements on several viewpoints on religion, women empowerment, women's rights, control and temptation. I'm a guy of course who found this installment to be the best one next to "Culture Shock". Elements in the film are bits and pieces of the films "Midsommar" and "Carrie". This film is not for the closed minded. Give it a shot and I hope you enjoy it!
Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019)
Great to see the scariest on the big screens.
I had to empty my entire mind hoping to either really like the film or hate it. While this movie may seem a little underwhelming or just another B-Movie film attempting to be a money magnet, it was actually worth the experience. I can honestly say I was impressed with the young cast, the plot of the story, and the scary stories/characters featured in the film; two of the featured story characters were truly marvelously terrifying and made me relive some chilling moments by all means. The visuals were really good and nailed it down with the details. There are a few moments where you kind of get that feel that it was straight out of the "Goosebumps" first feature film with the premise of the plot involves a book full of "stories" or "Characters" coming to life. Many attempts to almost make it believable enough to be scary. There are a few false tension moments where you're not TOO satisfied with the resolution of each story. But it was really good overall. Fans of these scary stories will probably love this film especially since it's brought to life. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Into the Dark: School Spirit (2019)
Pretty good soft slasher
The film's title is a metaphor and the story is pretty straight forward l. The characters aren't that likable, but the young victims and their obvious internal battles outside of the setting make them kind of likable. The blood and gore is a hit or miss. Not too much, but not too little. Some of the kills seem censored or happened too fast to notice and not worth the R-rating it was given. The best thing about the film is that they truly act like teenagers and wander off from the crew only to get slaughtered; but they're not as curious until the obvious shows. Not much is revealed until the very end. There's a slap on your face at the closing of the film. It's unique and definitely something I would do if I were a high school graduate. It's a great film for teens preferably 16-19 and young adults who just want time to pass while watching a pretty decent film-a-sode
Hope you enjoy.
Ma (2019)
Be Openminded and Enjoy
I won't lie, the only reason I went to see this was because Octavia Spencer is playing a totally different role than what I'm used to. I honestly thought it was one of the better Blumhouse films considering they have new low budget films every other month or so that are either pretty good or just really bad. It's a psychological thriller with horror elements and it's a little predictable. The acting in this film was hands down VERY good in the aspect of it being low budgeted and it's probably one of the better films to watch and enjoy of the decade. Just about everything in this film especially with the high schoolers is pretty relatable and slightly cliched to how dumbfounded high school students can get when their minds are overpowered by their agendas even when the consequences are clear. What I enjoyed most about the film was that the story was pretty straight forward and made you either really felt sorry for the the antagonist or really hated the antagonist. There are a few jump scares, extremely disturbing scenes, and a simple backstory to the antagonists Motives and reasons to her doings. There also isn't much to take from this film besides never trusting strangers and never drink around them. The only downfall is that the film should've been rated PG-13 since the cast was mostly younger adults/teens and there's no gore and only mild vulgar language which I've heard in various PG-13 films. Even though it's a psychological genre, it is fictionally education to underaged humans who want to party, get wasted, and not be aware of the people and their surroundings. I give it to Blumhouse being the film production company to bring decent films that are enjoyed by most audiences. All in all. This film gets an A- from me!
Hellboy (2019)
Very Random, but ALMOST Worth It
Okay, so Hellboy wasn't exactly expected or NEEDED to be reboot in my opinion. I caught myself continuously biasing the movie before its release because who in their right mind would replace Ron Perlman????? Anyways, I went to see this at a drive in which was much cheaper than theatres. In some sense, I'm glad I did, in other sense, I wished I've paid an extra three dollars to see what was actually going on. The story was clunky and felt like it was rushed and crammed together multiple plots. There's nods to various portions of the comic books series which I enjoyed. An overuse of too much gore and characters that you don't really get a chance to like or dislike. I was like MEH the whole time during the movie, even when innocent bystanders got killed. The CGI effects were hit and miss. Some were down right TERRIBLE... and some were good. The actor played as Hellboy was a bit stiff and often times seemed unrealistic. I tried to take this movie seriously since the ONLY character that was serious throughout the film was Nimue played by Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil film series). And even her character seemed overplayed and eventually tarnished later in the movie. There are almost a hundred questions that were unanswered and maybe I just missed important parts of the movie. Maybe I need to rewatch it on the big screen and pay attention to the dialogue. Overall this movie is only worth a 6, but I give it a seven considering I'm going back to make sure I didn't miss anything.
Good:
-the large lineup of cast members both veterans and newcomers alike
-several comic book elements
-visuals and costumes are like mideval to modern day
-some comic relief
Bad:
-clunky CGI almost unrealistic
-rushes and confusing story line
-lack of fight scenes
-finale was God awful
-unlikeable/unrelatable characters
-Too many random switching scenes
-far too much blood and gore
Captain Marvel (2019)
Long Buildup, but definitely triumphant
Despite the clunky dialogue, minimal music score, and a story that kind of lags on, Captain Marvel is a part origin-part prequel movie that you'll like and learn to appreciate. There's nothing majorly special about the film and is probably isn't the best, but Brie Larson is a good fit for the role of Captain Marvel. Stay tuned for post credits please, they are well worth the wait through credits!
Bumblebee (2018)
The right direction for the New Generation
Let's face it: We are TIRED of the unsuccessful attempts watching our beloved franchise of shape shifting robotic aliens dive deeper into the dirt of now being the most forgettable and tasteless of films of all times. Yet, they still take our money and give us trash. FORTUNATELY, Bumblebee isn't that film that suffers for overstuffed, overcooked and underperformed warzone fight scenes, clunky plot holes, or bad acting. Bumblebee stole my heart as it nods itself to the first Transformer's film in many ways that one, but with a bit more story and character development that started the billion dollar movie franchise. I deeply enjoyed how the movie was set in the mid to late 80s, which even me, as a 90s baby believe was the best era of both movies, music, AND fashion. This movie is just the right start of a new trilogy or series of films that lead into the very first live action film. Everything about it is JUST right. Don't expect too much though. We're not talking about prophecies or some weird past that forces the main protagonist to travel across the entire world to find answers, NO, Bumblebee has one mission and one mission only. And in this film, there's nothing better than a straight forward storyline that doesn't confuse us at the end of the film.
9 out of 10
Spider-Man (2018)
Spider-Man at his best, worst, and most heroic!
All the times and games failed to capture the true nature, hero, and young adult Peter always were, and this one lives up the hype since Spider-Man 2 video game. The characters look almost exactly like their model counterparts, voice acting was phenomenally like watching a Marvel film, the story wasn't confusing or over lengthy, missions weren't forced, but they were both challenging and rewarding, music is ambience based and sets the pace (Daredevil, The Maze Runner Series), a few tear drop moments as well as a fantastic rewarding system. There's also a lot of connections to the comics and since it IS in fact it's own story and universe, be prepared for some serious action, but dont expect any connection to the MCU. A few characters won't show their faces, NOT JUST YET, since this is Insomniac's first big project with both Marvel and Sony, this game is only the testing grounds for something even bigger and better. Oh, and pay attention to details, and try not to skip any scenes...especially since Marvel is involved, keep an eye out for some AMAZING post credits scenes. Good luck and Enjoy the adventure!
P.S. Try keeping an eye out for some important landmarks, you may like them.
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Amazing
This film is just as Good as Civil War. I'm deeply impressed as to how the movie stood very well with the overstuffung of many characters and making every single one of them play a part in this fantastic superhero brawl and mashup! There are little to no subplots, only one goal. This movie did much justice to captivate a true superhero film with your favorites and not so favorites with an impressive villain with a true purpose to stop at nothing until he gets what he wants. One of the top five best films of all time HANDS DOWN! No spoilers, expect the best, and the worst.
