Not sure why all government and law enforcement agencies are required to hate each other on TV shows, but if you can look past that cliche it was a solid episode. Not exactly the most realistic premise, but an enjoyable way to open the new season. This show has had moments where it is better than the parent franchise and NCIS: LA, but too often it reduces its characters to generic props. When it lets them be unique and appreciates the talent on the cast we get better episodes.

Who cares who was on the party boat?

Who put this page together?
How can you put up a "Full cast and crew" page without the NCIS:NOLA agents? Who is playing the acting Mayor? Who was the NCIS's interim leader?
I am extremely disappointed in whoever put this page together, and at whoever OK'd this mess.
The episode itself was pretty good, although Gregorio should have been shredded behind that couch under assault rifle fire, and the fireworks barge scene was mighty far from believable.

Perhaps the worst episode of the series.

My wife and I are avid NCIS fans. We've also watched every episode of NCIS New Orleans, but we don't feel it is nearly as good as NCIS. We've considered dropping it from our watch list. The first entry in season 4 is a big disappointment.
We like the characters and actors, especially Scott Bacula. But the story lines and direction sucks. The New Orleans location is great. We would hope for more serious device work, not figuring out the whole career while standing in the office while speculating.
