Leonard goes on public radio's Science Friday and implies that physics has no future. This gets him in hot water at Cal Tech which could affect the funding of his friends. Soon a malaise forms and they sit around feeling sorry for themselves. What ensues is hilarious as they go to the grave of Richard Feynman. Touching.

The Power of Doubt

This episode seemed to revolve around doubt. Leonard doubted his career and physics at Cal Tech publicly on radio. The majority of the rest of the episode deals with him trying to save his job - and the donation money that would be lost if he didn't write an apology. The situation leads to Sheldon to also doubt physics too. Bernadette and Amy brag to each other about their professions, to a fault. The episode gets better the later on it goes, but I didn't see the need to go to a cemetery, if only for a deceased physicist. Still, good episode. Great job by cast and crew.

Group reaction to Leonard's horrible interview.

Seriously - did we have to look at the Dean's wig cap in both scenes with her character?? What is the budget for this show? Otherwise, awesome. I can see some new directions for the season. All major characters have appropriately-aged life issues to deal with. But fix a girl's hair, and don't leave a visible line!! Inexcusable!!

Warning: Spoilers
Johnny Galecki actually had some funny moments in this episode. I know, I am as surprised as you are.

Definitely a step up from the season premiere. Bang may not be what it once was, but they can still tell a good story and give you a few chuckles with simple jokes.

Good to see Regina King make another brief appearance too.

The best episode in the past several years

I am surprised that most people haven't liked the episode (if you check out show's FB page, for example, you can attest to it). Humorous stings against contemporary theoretical physics are spot on, and so are nerdy jokes - they made hilarious references to Star Trek, Star Wars and Lost. I especially enjoyed the subplot jokes about Romulan ale. THIS is what TBBT is all about, not "exploring commitment issues in long term relationships" or something. The episode is a pure 10, among the best the show has ever had.
