Not Nice
Hitchcoc23 November 2021
Two episodes in a row where Sheldon has betrayed his friends in a big way. He had a chance to get in one the bitcoin thing at the beginning and chose not to. So where does revenge come in. It's simply meanness and spite. His character is actually getting nastier.

Howard's Mom?
scoonman13 November 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Howard's mom was in this episode. Was this another actress or part of a flashback I forgot since she had passed years ago?

Watch the Episode and Judge for yourself
sexystarwarslover17 April 2018
Okay so I'm still catching up on the latest season of the show and I've also been watching Young Sheldon which is hilarious. Tonight I watched this episode and could not stop laughing - one of the best laughs I've had from the show. The premiere takes place in two parts - seven years ago and present day and all about Bitcoin and deciding to cash in on the money. Seeing the characters go back into the past was brilliant because you realise how far they have come even Amy who had a rather humorous flashback. Sheldon is still Sheldon always and hearing Howard's mother again was just classic and even Zack is still Zack and I was laughing so much. I could re watch this episode again because it was just a sheer joy and entertainment

Second episode where Sheldon infuriates more than normal
lillemorthomsen-3083717 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I won't give it 1 * because it has a few sweet and funny moments but otherwise the remaining missing stars is thanks to Sheldon's behavior. For the sake of comedy, Sheldon is an oddball, however there is a line (and here comes the rant).

I don't know if this has happened before but the consequences of Sheldon BREAKING THE LAW and hacking into and stealing someone's property has SEVERE FINANCIAL CONSEQUENCES- ofc not to him, he just shrugs and gets a little shamefaced and that's that, where's as both last episode where we - SPOILERS - find out Sheldon built on the guys' guidens-system-thingie (that they built so amongst other things: Howard and Bernie could have some financial help being parents).

TWICE now in a row, we see Sheldon doesn't care at all, just as long as he gets his revenge or his name praised (and "forgets" his friends who he couldn't have done it without). He was once one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES and I screamed at the screen every time anyone was mean to him. Now I just and hope someone grows a pair and get him arrested for stealing their property, causing his lack of foresight for it to be lost forever! When everyone else has grown and learned, we get two episodes of "I wish they would just smack him or call the police". Just... something! So that he would learn that his actions has consequences! He isn't a little coddled child anymore but sure as heck acts like it.

The Bitcoin Entanglement
bobcobb3012 December 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Even though this was taped recently it feels ancient because Bitcoin is not worth $5,000 anymore, it's reached $8,000 - $11,000+ in recent weeks.

But that's a small detail one can overlook. The episode gave us some flashbacks to when the show was still a bit buzzworthy, but more importantly it tried something different than the normal format. It seemed like the writers actually put effort into the show for a change, something rare this season.

Stuart actually had laughs from almost all his lines tonight. Still, just not a great episode. Different, but in the same as most of Season 11 not quite funny.

Worst episode so far, characters act out of character
PabloThePirate5 January 2018
If you've been a fan of this show for a while, you'll find the characters' behavior in this episode hard to believe. First of all, because Sheldon is mad at Leonard, Raj, and Howard for not letting him mine Bitcoin with them, he refuses to tell them where they stored it (he has an eidetic memory). Leonard criticizes him for still being mad about something that happened 7 years ago. Later, however, Leonard finds out that after he gave Penny a laptop as a gift, she gave it to Zack when Leonard and Penny broke up, which causes him to get mad at her. She gave the laptop to Zack 7 years before this episode takes place. Leonard tells Sheldon not to be mad about something that happened 7 years ago, but he gets mad at Penny for something that happened 7 years ago. It has been clearly established that Leonard is a really nice guy, so he would never be a hypocrite like that. Some time after Leonard criticizes Sheldon, Sheldon criticizes Penny for ignoring her customers, and she tells him to shut up and eat his burger. He corrects her, saying that it's a turkey club. She asks, "Didn't you order a burger?" and he answers, "I did, and yet here we are." It's been clearly established that Sheldon complains about even the slightest inconvenience. He would've told Penny that she had gotten his order wrong as soon as she had given him the turkey club. Later, Amy mentions that at Comic-Con, Leonard wiped his nose on Sheldon's Darth Vader cape. Again, it's been clearly established that Leonard is a really nice guy. He would never wipe his nose on someone else's cape. Do the writers really expect us to believe this?
