About time
gjenevieve20 April 2018
I have not been fond of the way they have handled the character of Stewart. I have always thought that he was a nice guy and rather cute. I think that it is ridiculous that he never gets a decent date. They are always belittling him. And I have never really thought that it made sense that his comic book store was not more successful. This episode finally brought some great things to Stewart. It was long overdue. I hope that they keep this story line going in a positive direction.

The Comet Polarization

Warning: Spoilers
Back to back solid episodes of The Big Bang Theory? What is going on?

Sheldon's behavior was a little too over the top for my liking, but his interactions with Denise were great. Stuart has actually been funny this season too.

Even Raj and Leonard had some good moments in this one too.

Some Good Things

Stuart gets top billing in this one. I agree with some of the other reviewers that his character is actually rather charming. He is helpful and has some strong features. He's also an entrepreneur. He has accomplished more in life than his associates when it comes to self actualization. Here, Neil Gaiman writes a review of the comic book store and suddenly business explodes. The other feature is the discovery of a comet as the folks are on the roof looking through a telescope. Penny sees a blur and expects credit for the discovery. Her actions from then on are really unkind and selfish.

Worst episode ever!

Warning: Spoilers
Wow Penny is just unbearable in this episode and Sheldon too! But Penny wins hands down with the discovery of a comet she wants too appropriate herself like a child even if Raj is an astrophysicist and it can be good for his career it's so annoying! And Leonard really needs to grow a pair that's painful to watch!

Are actors slacking off?
kurisutofusan16 May 2020
It's been a few episodes we can see Penny looking off to maybe a staff, the audience, or trying to remember a line maybe. In this episode too, when she's at Raj's door. But this time, even Raj did it, when taking to Leonard in his apartment. I find this season boring and all this makes me think they season was rushed, in writing the scenario but recording the episodes. Like they didn't want to do other takes for a small detail as looking outside the recording area ... I think I watched the first 9 seasons at least 20 times and season 10 2-3 times. I don't think I'll be watching season 11 another time ...

Pitiful Petty Penny
Amelia40527 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I'm sorry, I've gotten to the point I have to skip this entire episode because of Penny. It doesn't matter what the rule is for claiming the discovery. This is not even remotely Penny's career field and she really shouldn't even care. Raj is her friend and she should've supported him one-hundred percent for claiming something in his field, that affects his career. Petty, petty Penny. Over the course of the series, every one of the main characters do things to each other that I would hope no one, in real life, would accept and continue the friendships. This is just one example. She has zero knowledge on the subject and she could have just quietly let Raj have a win. Shame on her. Technically, shame on the writers.

A dope slap for the writers
poejo1214 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
First of all, it's obvious that the comet discovery was solely Penny's and, as an astrophysicist, Raj would know that. Also, Raj would never screw a friend over like this. It wouldn't have crossed his mind. So the writers have suddenly, after eleven seasons, drastically rewritten Raj's character in two ways here. Leonard would likely have known this as well, but even if he didn't, his spinelessness in failing to defend Penny's position (when Raj announced that he had unfairly taken 100% credit for the discovery) isn't how he would have really responded.
