It was a great final and the competitors were equally skilled. but the brazilian competitor touched the ground in the 3d round... the producers wanted a climber vs climber final i guess

Is it really fixed??? :(

Go to the internet and search "Beastmaster Season 1 Finale" to view all of the adverse Reddit commentary. Many on Reddit have commented that episode appeared rigged in favour of a particular contestant. They suggest that this contestant touched an out of bounds area earlier in the competition, and hence should have been eliminated. They also suggest that this contestant didn't win the final obstacle course but was somehow still crowned the winner. They suggest the athletes competing against this competitor displayed strange uncompetitive behaviours, implying that the finale was somehow rigged. They say viewers can see these inconsistencies without needing to study the footage, apparently its obvious and in plain sight. They also sight inconsistencies with respect to the prize money...

I guess, study the finale for yourself, reach your own conclusion, and then decide whether it's ruins the show for you.
