I do not enjoy this show as much as others on the internet, but this was a solid return to the program. It looks like it is going to be another season held over a short period of time with the immediate fallout from the detective's murder and Marius' attempts to get the money back.

Probably a smart move on that front. Enjoyable, entertaining, just not an elite show.

Perfect Return For The Perfect Show

Sneaky Pete season 1 was amazing. Brilliant. The return knocks it out of the park. The suspense is higher than ever. The risk is higher than ever. Giovanni Ribisi acting is superb, alongside all the other actors. The return follows directly after the cliff-hanger of the first season, meaning that the first season and the second season are all within 2 weeks. This idea is brilliant. The story is fantastic. The acting is superb. The writing is golden. No better way to start a new season of an already fantastic show!

How Do You Feel About Going To Prison

So S2 starts out with Pete getting dropped off and sent on his mission. Now he's got to find Maggie Murphy and 11 million dollars.

Pete doesn't seem to realize who he is dealing with. +1 Star for when they show him who Pete is dealing with. Frank and JOE!!!

So a Culkin dies in the name of...well nothing really. Pete messed up. 6/10.

Already going downhill

This seemed an interesting series with a lighthearted side, despite the dark criminal undertones, but after the brilliant ending of season one, this first episode follows a more sinister bent, as indicated by the title.

Marius/Pete is still on the hook, his "cousin" Julia does something unbelievably stupid, his other cousin goes the smug teenage route which is totally unnecessary (really hate that character), aunt Audrey and uncle Otto are still stuck with problems and lots of unpleasant things happen to secondary characters while not much happens to Gina, for obvious reasons.

Murky, violent, unpleasant and the fun part down the drain. Not a good start.
