Every episode of this show is pretty much the same, but it cannot be denied that the humour is warm, and the laughs are easy enough to find.
I thought the story line involving Eric/Mr Newbold and Cyril was pretty daft, even for this show, and seemed to be more like something from 'Last of the Summer Wine' than 'Still Open All Hours'.
Thankfully there are far more laughs to be found from Granville trying to fend off the increasingly less subtle Mrs Featherstone.
Stick to what works, Roy Clarke, not the unexplored.
